Here are the items:

https://eso.mmo-fashion.com/category/database/acquired/crown-store/furniture-packs/special/the-intrepid-gourmet/

This pack would have been the golden opportunity to include a different provisioning station - the redguard oven! A working chimenea! One of the stoves from Morrowind!

But no - its the same old provisioning station. *sigh*

I realize the draw of this pack is probably supposed to be the costumes and emotes but...come on. We need a nicer provisioning station.

I know right :disappointed: I was so disappointed that it only includes incredibly basic and mundane food furnishings...
I think the pack has a bit of an identity crisis. Is it trying to be a costume pack, an emote pack, or a furnishing pack? And then there's the recipe book, but it only teaches you the basic writ recipes, and is useless if you already know them.

    Is that IT?

Apart from the cart thing and the costume, everyone’s got the rest in triplicate already. And most of it is dead cheap to buy. Costumes OK if you really want to dress up as a cook.

    Thank you but I’ll pass.

    ZO$ scores again.

Or, in fact, the new Elsweyr grill.

Yes, the new Elsweyr grill would be awesome!

There is so much great stuff in Elsweyr that ZOS could make use of in the shop and ingame vendors. Such a shame that the same old things get trotted out time and again, when the devs have already designed and implemented so many items that would get snapped up in an instant.

And still not too late for the Redguard oven, which we have been asking for ages along with a lot of other stuff. I’d love to know why more of what we would really like, and which is reasonable, never appears in the Crown Store instead of yet another slightly different rock or plant.

I hadn't seen the Elsweyr grill! Totally agree - heck, I'd even settle for making the Redguard grill functional.

It's not even a practical provisioning station for most homes. Between the Redguard Oven and the Elsweyr Grill, there are other options for cooking devices. Yet all we have are the regular provisioning station, the Clockwork grill-looking station, and the Winter Fesival Hearthfire.

So I won't be getting this pack. I prefer cooking without hearing the cooking jingle from Monster Hunter in my head.

Blargh. I thought it would have the rolling pin, etc. So many great food-based furnishings came with Elsweyr... But no, base-Homestead blue/green items, base provisioning station. I was ready to take the hit on the worthless recipe book. A costume, some emotes, fine... but the furnishings were the goal. It's suddenly a pass for me. Sad.

Also - yass! That Elsweyr grill... I was looking for a provisioning station in Rimmen and kept walking by it. When I finally figured out *that* was the cooking station I was on the floor. So pretty! Here's hoping they release it.

Wow. That's totally underwhelming. Thank for sharing it with us and saving folks some crowns.

Yeah, that is what I would really like, too.

I pretty much always put a Redguard Grill (or two!) in my kitchens, so it would be very convenient.

Presumably, there is something they can add to (any) fire, in-game, to make it function as a cooking fire?

As some (of one style) do and some (of the same style) don't.

So, you would think they could just sell us some kind of token, or item, that turns any fire furnishing into a cooking fire.

In the Hew's Bane Palace, for example, there is already an oven.

I stuck a brazier and some logs in it, so it looks like it would function, but of course it doesn't.

Can't even put the New Life fire in there, as it obviously doesn't function when placed inside an oven, like that.

Maybe they're worried that people might stick a cooking token in a non-cooking object? Or in nothing?

But, really, so what if they do?

Does it really matter if they're stirring a bowl in front of a table, rather than a fire? Or in front of a plain brick wall, for that matter?

False hope pictures. Le cry. I'd love to place my Jubilee cakes in my houses. There was one where a Dunmer lady was gardening and my heart skipped a beat.

I suspect it has to do with hit boxes and collision. Every object with which you can interact has a hit box - an aura, for lack of a better term - that allows the player to use/fight that object. If you place an object that has a hit box inside an object that has collision, the collision feature prevents you from accessing the hit box.

Yeah, I would have loved if the cakes in of the promo images were actually in the pack.

You can with EHT. Yes, I know I'm an EHT zealot. As I told @R_K, I have no shame for promoting his work :)

Apologies for the minimap in the ss, for some reason it doesn't turn off with the rest of my UI.xqlit2twrclu.png
