How do you deal with incapable people in vet dungeons and trials?

    Stick with them
Unless they have the personality of a brick wall like the majority of the 'Kick' voters, it's a non-issue.

I explain how the mechs work, if people get snooty tho however that's where the problem lies, but people wanting to learn and do better and help others then I am down for spending 2-5 mins going through what we are meant to do, also practice makes perfect. :)

Despite the fact I raided a bit in WoW, I have no idea what I am doing in vets and trials here (as I don't bother with them), but when I am asked, I seem to end up with people who know even less than I do (and especially since the recent influx from WoW, are also pretty rude and trollish), so I have decided to just say no to all of it, from now on.

Saves me having to say things they might regret.

    Hey Tigerseye,

If you enjoy doing raids and trials, there are loads of guilds that specialise in helping players learn how to do them and run regular trials nights for beginners, progressers and vets. They welcome new players. So you don’t HAVE to say no.

    Have fun

    Kick them
Why do some people hate themselves so much that they pug vet dungeons solo? Why risk getting put in vet dungeons like Scalecaller or Moon Hunter Keep where you actually need around 20K dps at some points to keep from getting wiped and both dps are just running around light attacking? You only pug normals, and even then you might get people who just heavy attack everything in a dlc dungeon while standing in stupid and ignoring all mechanic explanations. For your own sanity, don't pug vets unless your duo consists of a good tank and good dps so you have a chance to carry the other 2 people. You'll have less complaints about low-cp people or trash dps if you can just backpack them through most things.

Try to give suggestions on how to do better. If they ignore you or take it as an insult and lash out, then I'll vote kick or leave.

I don't do dungeons anymore unless i need the monster helmet for pvp. I have most gear and I don't want to put up with undergeared baddies trying to do vet instead of normals

    Stick with them
Generally stick with them, if they're nice.
However, if they're being d*heads and blaming everyone else while they're outputting 3k DPS with bow light attacks, constantly dying to mechanics even after they've been explained to them several times, they're getting a kick or I'm leaving.

It's more about their behaviour than their inexperience. We were all new to dungeons once. It feels great when you help someone new complete a vet dungeon for the first time, especially if was hard. They feel accomplished and you feel like you did something good.

What I won't do is stick to a rude brat who treats the group like *** for hours of painful wipes. Though when this is the case they usually are the ones to leave, after bidding farewell to us (and our mothers) with a beautifully constructed message in the chat (sometimes in Russian too).

    Kick them
How about using your superior knowledge of the game to teach them how to do it better?

If DPS is required, you cant teach them in the dungeon to improve from 15k dps to 30-40k dps. Its also not my job to teach others, if they dont have the requirements it takes to kill a boss, they simply do not belong there.

I never invite that kind of person into a pre-made, so no problem.

    For pugs however it depends.

If toxic or entitled I leave unless someone else instigates a vote to kick before I get to that stage.

If seemingly reasonable ask if I can offer some advice especially if they look to be struggling

also might offer some better potions and/or food.
