Help with a templar PVP character

I normally play PVE however with my friends I want to play some PVP mainly Cyrodill and I want to make a new character that will be PVP focused, I plan on making it a stamina wood elf that will either have a sword and shield or dual wield but I'm not sure what type of skills and armor I need. Can anyone help me out and give me tips? Thanks in advance.

Research PvP builds just like you're thinking about. Crit resistance mandatory for cyrodiil. Stam wood elf very good for sustain. Depends on what you want to do on what weapons you choose also the class. If nightblade oh boy you're gonna have fun. The videos of builds will help you tremendously because they usually over explain why and what which is a good thing. Dual wield bleeds very good. Sword and board makes you tankier and can block more but as a damage dealer not a great way to go unless you know what you're doing with it. Most builds are like bow dual wield. You sink your arrow dot them up and go in ambush light attack bleed spammable then execute and they're dead. Lol. Fun. Kristofer YouTube templar on wood elf and wow this guy is good and one of the best at explaining things and he mains a Stam templar wood elf. Might help a lot, good luck.

Stamplar is tough to pull off in PVP without a lot of experience. Magplar, while never good 1 on 1, is a great way to learn the PVP basics while helping out from the back lines.
