What are the lyrics the singers of death sing when you die?

Whenever you die you get this sort of low slow-beat mournful music and, if not immediately then eventually, these sort of chanting singers come on singing rather mournfully something.. in.. some sort of language. Does anyone know what the lyrics are and what they translate to in English?

I think mine say “That’s what you get for backing off a cliff, dummy!”
    "Get off my lawn!"

This one thinks, but is not sure, that they might be singing in Latin?

As that was usually the case with sort of medieval church music and it has the same sort of tone no? Gregorian chants etc?

This might be better addressed by the music team …

I agree with SC, it does sound rather Latin-ish Gregorian chant-like, yet I have a feeling it's probably Ayleid as Blinkin8r suggested as that'd make some sense and they already did the themesong from a while ago in that same language.

I'd be surprised if it were just straight Latin.

I do definitely appreciate all the answers, some were insightful, others were just straight funny.

Its Gregorian and might be one of the lore languages.

I don't know nor would I care when I die. The Buddhism monk was chanting something at my grandma's funeral, maybe I will ask next time.

It's Rubble and Smoke on the original soundtrack. Dunno the language tho.
"Such is the nature of evil. Out there in the vast ignorance of the world, it festers and spreads. A shadow that grows in the dark. A sleepless malice as black as the oncoming wall of night. So it ever was, so will it always be. In time all foul things come forth." -Thranduil

The language you're hearing is one that we created for ESO...a kind of "dead language of Tamriel", akin to Latin being a "dead" language of Earth. :) It's the same language that is sung in much of the soundtrack music.

I hate to disappoint, but it doesn't actually translate to anything.

Which is just a fancy way of saying - yes, it's gibberish.

So if MattT1988 wants it to mean “You f***ing nooooooooooob, git gud scruuuuuuuuub”, so be it!

Headcanon updated. Thank you very much for this.

I chose to believe that it translates to the "You are dead" song from the game over screen of Total Distortion:

    Caius Drusus Imperial DK (DC)
    Bragg Ironhand Orc Temp (DC)
    Neesha Stalks-Shadows Argonian NB (EP)

Tylera the Summoner Altmer Sorc (EP)
    Svari Snake-Blood Nord DK (AD)
    Ashlyn D'Elyse Breton NB (EP)
    Filindria Bosmer Temp (DC)

This is a far better answer than hoped for. Phoneticising, or... can't remember the term, is cool, but making a set "language" from it is even better.
