Which class for a first stamina character?

Hello everyone,

I have several max-level magicka characters. 2 DPS, 2 healers, 1 for PVP (almost 2 max level).
However, I have made a few alts for a stamina character, but it seems i find it harder to level, or to get into.

Can someone give me advice: Which class would be the easiest and most fun to level to max? I am not looking to do trails, just to level and experience a different flow of combat. I will do some dungeons, maybe some PVP too.

Or could you give me advice on what to do, and what not to do on a stamina toon?

Also: If i load my hotbar with all stamina-skills, then magicka is a totally useless stat?

Magic is pretty useless, many uses some magic skills for stuff like buffs but so little you are good with the 10K you have as default. You feel pretty stupid then out of magic on an stamina build because mechanics like Fungal 2.

Agree on classes, if you use Khajiit or Dunmer you have the option to convert to magic later.

PVE wise all stams have use the same abilities, sets and CP allocation so it doesn't really matter lmao

Which magicka classes do you have/play? I'd pick a different class for stam, just for variety. But in general, I think stamblade is the easiest class for solo PvP on stam. Warden is also up there for group play.

On almost all stam builds, you'll have some buffs that cost magicka, and probably one or two utility skills (cloak, streak, chains, talons, shimmering shield, etc.) that you can use to great effect as a "magicka dump." If you load up your skill bar with 100% stamina skills, then yes, magicka is a useless stat and you will be wasting the resource you get for free there.

Obviously necromancer is new for Elsweyr.

If you like variety in stamina class skills, the Stam Warden has stam self heals, burst damage, ranged damage, sustain, and a stam-scaling bear. Stam warden is also great for PVP, once you get the timing of their burst combos down.

Personally, Stam sorc was the easiest stam build I ever leveled in PVE because of the healing from Crit Surge and the powerful AOE from Hurricane. But they have few stam class skills, so they are reliant on their weapons, like most stam builds. I havent played it much in PVP though.
