    There is an early access for PC/Mac players.
    The Update 22 base game Update will be available for all PC/Mac players, regardless of chapter's purchase.

    Xbox and PS4 get Elsweyr on the 4th of June, because Sony and Microsoft won't allow it any other way and ZOS doesn't want to keep PC waiting for a finished product just because of consoles. So instead of making consoles feel bad about owning a console, they call it "early access" but it's more like an "early release" on PC. Every update and release is like that.

    Note that buying Elsweyr before the 4th of June on PC still counts as a Pre-order.
    This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

    "Early Access", otherwise known as ZOS putting a label on it this time since Consoles have to wait for Microsoft and Sony to verify every large content patch which takes weeks.

    PC and Mac always get normal access, Consoles get delayed.

    That is basically the idea, yes. If you bought Elsweyr Digital CE already then when the servers come up you will have access to it.

    Why would you need a different account? It’s like any other update. Just open your game launcher and it will automatically patch.

    Today is the release date on PC. They just renamed the PC release 'early access.' PC always gets new content 2 weeks (iirc) before consoles.
