I've noticed this too when trying to do keyword searches in specific sub-forums ...0 -
Merlight✭✭✭✭✭Update: It's leaf-level categories that don't work. Higher level categories seem to be working.
For example:
1) Search for text "house" in category "Official News and Updates" (which has subcategories), date within "1 month" of "today" --> you get results only from subcategories of "Official News and Updates".
(side note: the checkbox "search subcategories" has no effect)
I haven't tested this when I created this thread, so don't know whether non-leaf category search has been fixed or was never broken.
2) Search for text "house" in category "Patch Notes & Hotfixes" (which is a leaf, no subcategories), date within "1 month" of "today" --> you get results from the whole forums. Category filter is ignored.
