Random normal FG1= legal or exploit?

recently it became common to see messages in chat like LF members for random normal FG1

where players queuing for random dungeon for daily reward and right after

teleporting to random dungeon (let's say it is BRF or ICP for example)

just reteleports manually to FG1 ( fastest for clear easy dung)

this manual changing of dungeon still allows them to get random dungeon daily reward.

so... i have a question - does this action considered as exploit (violating TOS, have consequences)

or it is just another "feature" ?

it would be very nice to have an official ZOS statement on this matter

alongside our respectful community members opinions.

It's been like that for awhile now. With the new Chapter on Monday, if ZOS has not made a change to how that works, you can assume (I know) that it is not a big deal. It is not something I do, but I also don't fret over it. I suggest you do the same.

Forming pre-made groups in zone chat is a separate topic, but the FG1 "random" dungeon is a problem for the folks who queue in the dungeon finder for specific dungeons (other than FG1). I hope it will be fixed for that reason.

The formal system has only one function. That's to assign the dungeon and you not getting to pick the dungeon. In exchange you get a reward. If you want to pick your own dungeon there are multiple ways to do it. If you circumvent the one and only requirement for a reward, it's an exploit. Use it as an example of the clear definition of the word exploit in video games, because the binary nature of the random dungeon finder choosing the dungeon or not leaves no room for interpretation on it's designed function.

ZoS is aware of the issue and you can dig up those responses easier if you speak German, but I don't. They are not currently punishing anyone.

Common courtesy tells me you should form a group ahead of time if you want to do it. I don't personally care if you do. ZoS doesn't seem to be a fan of the practice, but has other priorities if memory serves from the event that put the spotlight on this.
