I used to get at least an automated response when I submitted a ticket, but the last couple bug reports I have not.

The last one was cosmetic issue so I wasn't too concerned, but the most recent bug cost me 50 transmute stones.

I bought a ring. Accepted ring from mail, but the mail wouldn't delete. So I figured it would after I reloaded next time. So I transmuted the ring and enchanted the ring and then equipped it. Relogged to get something off a character and it let me delete the mail. When I went back to the character with the ring, it was back in his inventory, un-enchanted and un-transmuted - but the Transmute stones were still spent, and the enchantment gone. I didn't overly sweat the enchant, even though it cost me a kuta - but 50 trans stones isn't anything to sneeze at. Was hoping to get some help, but never heard from zos (checked junk to make sure nothing has been marked as spam and it has not).

    This is very concerning. They really need to figure out this inventory stuff asap. The amount of missing inventory, things being deleted by the system when trading in player housing, items getting deleted from chests when you delete some random character etc. Pretty ridiculous. I hope they'll fix their mistake on your end.

    Apparently, the ZOS Support automated response system now has a bug. Sometimes I get an acknowledgement that I have submitted a ticket, and when I don't, then either I have to repeat the submission or ask ZOS to correct the situation.

    Are you using an add-on to help process the e-mail messages that you receive?

    When you encounter a UI problem like that one, the best thing to do is to attempt to find the cause and/or to resolve it before continuing to play the game. If the ring was in the character's inventory, but you could not delete the e-mail message to which it was attached, then that was a "RED FLAG". ....

    By default, the keypress to delete an e-mail message is not shown on the UI while it has an attachment. So the player must Accept < A > the attachments before the option to delete it is shown on the UI. Have you reported a malfunction with that feature previously?

    From your remark about the gameware allowing you to delete the e-mail message after reloading, I suppose that you probably discovered the work-around for that bug some time previously. Personally, I have never encountered that bug. But I also use the option to display a confirmation dialog when I delete an e-mail message, so maybe I have avoided any UI error that does not allow the player to delete an e-mail message after removing any and all attachments.

    I stopped getting responses from Customer Support a loooong time ago.

    This is why I'm boycotting spending any of my money in this game until Zenimax actually invests a portion of our money back into the game like they promised 5 years ago.

    There are bugs that have been around since Beta.
    Huge latency issues since software update in February.
    More disconnections than ever before.
    Enemy and node spawns acting funny.
    Characters getting stuck in attack animation and cannot move.


    It looks to me that the servers are dying and we need replacements. I don't understand why we would get a software update to the 5 year old servers.

    Even a monkey can tell you that's a bad idea.

    They literally told my friend 5 months ago "we dont know" when he asked for help for a game breaking bug that was preventing him to play, only overland contebnt.

    He quit eso and cancelled his sub after a month of being experiencing this bug

    Seems pretty serious to not even hear from support on this issue. I've put in a second ticket about the first as well as this post. If there is a bug with support tickets, do they not monitor this sub-forum? Is there a way I can get some help?

    Kind of figured the red flag thing out at this point, but yeah, should have assumed it to start with.

    Same UI where I can't delete things at all with attachments. But no, haven't seen the issue before, just usually when there is a bug like that that feels UI related, a reload will fix it. Obviously I should have done this first before changing the gear, but still seemed odd everything else worked so well for equipping, enchanting and changing that I thought all was good on that end and it was just a weird mail thing.

    The word on the street is that they don't want to pay support staff, which is why everything is automated and most of the fixes get pushed to major expansions if at all.

    And they hooked me up today and fixed it.

    So if anyone isn't getting a reply from in game support anymore, maybe it's the bug an earlier poster mentioned. Try going into this website and entering a bug report manually here instead of in game.

    If you're being sarcastic: Hahahaa! So true.

    If you're being serious: Not so much. I've made post after post in the bugs forum detailing the many bugs I've found, including videos, and they ignore each and every one of them. They'll respond to something silly like someone coming unglued over a misspelled word in a Lorebook, but a bug that literally catapults a player into outer space before then dropping them to their death after a lengthy free-fall, all while fighting a boss, is completely ignored. Weird priorities.
