Repairing armor. It hurts new players and older players that forget to do it. Its a fantasy game just get rid of it plenty of other *** to waste gold on.

We already spend countless hours farming for the perfect piece of gear, or to farm for transmute crystal to transmute it, we spend a ton of golds increasing the quality of gear, we shouldnt have to repair it all the *** time. Seriously it makes no sense. What makes it even more infuriating is that pvp players dont have to repair armors except if they die from fall dammage, while pve players have to repair their armors EACH (or almost each) *** dungeons. They should remove the repair mechanic altogether.6 -

I'm personally on ps4, I don't have AddOn. I wish I had, but I don't. + I do daily writs on all my char everyday but it does'nt produce enough repair kit for the quantities of repair needed. If only Nuzimeh would allow you to repair, it would'nt be as bad, we'd be able to repair on the go for cheaper, but no.3 -

✭✭✭✭✭It's just an old gold sink mechanic that's become a staple of games and remained, it is however also one of the only consequences of death in the game, without that then death would really be meaningless.

Try using impen.
Your gear gets scratched and dented over time vs mobs. It’s much sturdier with impen though so while we wage war with other heroes our armor can take more blows.2 -

There is a simple fix, dont die so often
I am doing it only with 3 chars and have more then 600 kits on each char. The only time you really need them is when you run a vet trial or dungeon for the first time and wipe because you dont know the mechanics or not everyone gets them (twins in vmol is proper example for it).
Can i ask what you are doing that you need tons of repair kits? I dont mind if they remove it from the game just curious....

Like i said, i am just curious what you do all day that you need tons of repair kits?
Whacking your armour with overland content takes ages.
The only time i can image yo would need quite a few is when you practive with your raid guild a new trial where you dont know the mechanics or if you pug a lot dlc dungeons. And even then you can simply port to a merchant, repair your stuff and port back.
And if you forget to check your armour after a long day of playing then its your fault

✭✭I would gladly settle for some anti-exp cake I can eat that will make me gain NO exp. Since I have earned max level why am I still breaking my gear for earning meaningless exp? Meanwhile I can hop into Cyrodil, jump into a horde of swirling zerglings and get beat on from 15 different directions, flaming oil dumped on my face, ballista, trebuchet, and catapult fire blasted at me from multiple players, die a dozen times, and after a week of that every night.. all fine and dandy.

✭✭✭✭Armor Repair is annoying and doesn't add anything to the game. The argument that it exists as a "gold sink" is a stupid defense. There are less annoying ways to remove gold from players.
