Current state of the servers - Small QOL changes needed?

With the servers *working as intended*, what small features would you like to see in the game to try improve the quality of life? Such as trials/dungeons auto putting away people's pets to reduce lagg issues in instances, smaller scale trials - 6man? Not sure how PVP would be improved as campaigns are still as bad as launch!

    1 get servers working properly

2 communicate better with community, let us know what is being done and how effective the progress is.

The failure to address issues properly and the current bunker mentality are way more disappointing than the issues themselves

I play in Cyrodiil a lot. They really need a way to nerf organized ball zergs who tax the servers so badly. Find a way to do that, and a lot of the lag and booted from server problems will go away.

They really really and I can't stress this enough, really need to work on input lag, *** Guild Trader interactions and the mailbox.

Fix the damn BG/dungeon queue in its entirety. Fix the "somebody declined the invite" bug, fix broken BG matches where a team is a man or two short preventing the match from starting, separate premades from solo queues in BGs, *** MMR the *** off until a more suitable replacement is ready.

this won't be popular but to me the game was working smooth when the login queue was ON.
Did they actually finished installing new hardware on EU server? cause I personally don't feel any difference.

Hahahaa small QOL improvements. May be for example make the game playable at prime time? It was awesome with the queue tbh. At least group finder worked. I don't know how wa the situation on Vivek, probably bad as always

This is largely dependent on the queue/dungeon finder actually working...but...

I'd like to see NORMAL TRIALS ONLY in the finder.

#1) Because a pug is a pug, and theres literally no guarantee between the quality of a group from a finder system or shouting out in chat for an hour.

#2) Speaking of shouting out in chat, the reason I'd like to see this happen is because I WAS shouting out in chat in Craglorn all day yesterday. No groups for normal trials. The "just ask in chat" solution isnt really a solution if people don't respond.

#3) There's literally nothing wrong with having options. You personally don't want to use the group finder for normal trials, simply don't use it. Why, then, if you wouldn't intend to use it, would you want to deny the option to those who would?

Like I said, this greatly would be depend on the group finder working though, so probably not happening... 😕

I have never played an MMO where the lag is this bad from large groups in PVP areas. Even in WOW in Alterac Valley(massively populated game instance with all kinds of skills) you do not get this. Now, are the numbers smaller as a whole in AV than in Cyro, yes, but the premise is the same. It has nothing to do with nerfing ball groups and everything to do with server performance, or lack thereof.

Well, the difference with wow and ESO is that Wow used multiple servers for players as well as having multiple servers set up for instanced battle grounds. Back in the old days of wow having open world pvp battles at Tauren Mill and South Shore would cause a lot of lag, or the lag one would get during world pvp battles on pvp server at locale world bosses.

I am new to ESO and not sure, but judging from the description of (Mega Server) I do not think ESO uses multiple servers, or servers for instanced battlegrounds, It is just one large server for lots of fun.

At least I do not see the constant rubber band affect I saw in Perfect World Entertainment's Neverwinter game.

Actually make people spread in Cyrodill to decrease server strain caused by ballgroups and their buff/healing aoes.

Im not against organised group play. But I'd love to see it done without 20k healing per second for every group member almost 100% of time. Even 10k healing in noCP gives a player almost complete invulnerability.

If we were forced to spread and keep formation to protect our healers while getting up to 10k healing only when needed - then even I would make such a group. And it would be more challenging and enjoyable for everyone. Every group member would feel a sense of accomplishment: healer every time when he saves someoones life with burst heal, tank whenever he body blocks a team member and dd whenever he bursts down an enemy with his combo.

True it was better than now for sure. They probably lied and just removed the queue with no real improvement on the server. Since they didn't even bother to comment on the outcome of the "update" and tell us what was really done I don't trust they are being truthfull. Such a fvucked up way of treating their playerbase. This company must be run by a bunch of r3tards!

I agree that there was some lag at Tauren Mill and South Shore but not nearly as bad as the lag we see in ESO. And I do think that ZOS may need to go to multiple instanced servers for Cyro, or something like it, to reduce computation strain on the current one.

That's actually something i've been wanting for f*****g ages! Like how WoW does it. Give us a queue system for trials, it would help too as it would probs get people more into trials and hopefully moving towards the end game
