Anniversary Cake XP Buff Broken?

I thought I saw this the other day, and then it seemed to fix itself. Now it's happening again. New week of the event has started, refreshed my cake as I do each day for tickets. Went off to do daily crafting writs, and when handing in, I'm only getting 1.5k xp, rather than the 3k it should be with the buff active. I've tried all the obvious things like removing and adding the buff again, but nothing seems to fix it. Any ideas?

    Wait, when I am on the cake buff and using a 150% scroll, I get about 2500ish exp per writ. So, were you buffed yesterday by a scroll or ambrosia?

    My normal with no buffs, no enlightenment, is 5.8k for all 7 writs. Cake doubles this which is right around 1600 for one writ. So I think what you are seeing now is expected. Not sure what was increasing it earlier.
