The maintenance is complete, and the PTS is now back online and patch 11.1.0 is available.

I don't tend to spend ages on the PTS as I don't want to spoil my first run through of everything on my main. However, the lure of getting a look at the Necromancer class tempted me to start a new character and play through the starter quest.
Now, I ordinarily skip the starter quests whenever possible as they have typically been rather dull and frankly not very informative. I have to take my hat off to ZoS for the Elsweyr starter quest however - it's informative, engaging, and feels very aligned to the game as a whole. Having played it through and had a good look around the zone, I'm flippin' stoked for the launch!
