I appreciate that for new players the Elsweyr Standard Edition and ESO Collection provide past expansions. This makes it very easy for new players to get caught up and access all the content.
I also don't have any problem with the content model for players who play continuously. We buy the stuff as it comes out - we do pay a higher price but that is for the benefit of getting the content right away. Price drops over time are normal for.... everything. Movies, games, books, any luxury good.
The problem comes is with returning players. I'm talking every day to players who maybe tried this in beta or before Tamriel Unlimited and are now returning. They don't want to start over on a new account. But they do want access to Morrowind and Summerset. There is no efficient way for them to acquire this content. They literally can't buy Morrowind except for $35 in the crown store - which is more expensive than it was in the first place and doesn't even include warden. The Summerset upgrade is also more expensive. Every returning player would love to be able to simply purchase Elsweyr Standard Edition and get Morrowind and Summerset and get caught up, but the store will not let them buy it because they already own the base game.
At this point the easiest thing would be to give away Morrowind free to all players. It's already free to all new players... why shaft returning ones? But even better would be to allow returning players to catch up with expansions without having to pay double what new players have to!
