Outfit weapon styles reverting randomly

Outfit weapons will sometimes randomly revert to their base appearance, I cannot determine what the trigger is if there is one. this is extremely annoying when it happens, requiring a re application at an outfit station it is not a UI glitch, reloadui does not fix it.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

✭I've had this happen once, and unequipping then reequipping the weapon fixed it without having to use the outfit station.0
