wish i rolled dk instead of nb

nb is completely pigeon holed and after deciding to try different play styles, its obvious 2 hand is so much better designed in PVE, its not even funny.
and most of the nightblade skill tree is useless, builds maybe use 1 skill from the entire class's tree, which is the leeching strikes
class is a joke, if they do a class change token im taking it, so tired of this worthless class

Stamblade: 8% weaker baseline, lost Endurance, lost 5k pen when required to peel for adds in fights, Mangle uptime too short to be considered a feature and useless in PvE anyway

Magblade: 8% weaker baseline, told to jump into melee if they want that damage back, magblade told to jump into melee to get a heal, every non-stealth NBs losing their only reliable semi-burst heal, invis cloak still unreliable in melee range, healing-through-hurting still double dipped on Battle Spirit and enemy resists reductions

Otherclasses have been near-matching NB parses on both fronts, and NB has no competitive tanking or healing options, so what are they meant to do when they don’t have a strength to justify bringing them to trials above any other class?

ive played nightblade since beta, dont talk to me about fotm. im dropping the class because its an inferior, poorly designed class whose skills are never utilized, its worthless

i wish i rolled DK, and im so deep into the game's progress ill never get any of that back if i reroll now all my motifs, recipes, the character's history

If only we had a system where we can transfer those items through the bank and research them on every character instead of just relying on one. 🙄 Also train your mounts on your other character in advance. Your forum posts will thank you.

You've been playing since beta but you only have the Nightblade? And because you don't want to farm shards, learn traits, etc? Make your NB your crafter, no need to relearn everything. I played for 2 years and have 8 maxed toons with over 300 skill points each.

No where he spoke about the hassle of leveling.

Trait learning and motif are the reason he complained and well I can understand that.

It take about a year to learn all traits and motif cost severals millions of golds.

yup im going to do it anyway its obvious this class is going nowhere and its frustating so im giving my feedback to zos how i feel about nb being a useless class, and no way to just class change token, and the amount of bull crap you have to re-do when rerolling
im sure like a year from now they will be charging us motif transfers and everything under the sun that isnt a class change
even if they did start at level 1 but retain all other progress, id be happy with that but thats never going to happen

You know you don't have to delete your character to make a new one, right? Most people who play multiple chars have a dedicated crafting toon.

I have made umpteen toons over the years, yet my main character (crafter) still remains. Your complaint and his isn't even a complaint.

He has claimed he's been playing since beta, yet he doesn't know it's entirely possible to make a 2nd separate character? I'm sure you both are taking the *** here. you have got to be.

Welcome to the club. its not getting any better for NB anytime soon so I hope you find another class you like as I have.

Bro it takes 4 hours to level to 50. In the time you wasted creating this thread you could have been level 4 already on your new DK.

Some of that is way overwrought.

• You don't need trait or other crafting research on a second character. It may or may not be nice to have, but it's not crucial.
• Mount research takes months, but it takes very little effort over that time. That's one reason many of us roll adds long before we hope to use them.
• If you enjoy playing a character at all, leveling to 50 should be fast, easy and fun.

What IS a pain is getting extra skill points. My top healer has done many dungeons, has 201 skyshards, and still could use well more skill points than he has. Even my original main, who is my master crafter too, is tight for skill points, and he's done Caldwell's Gold and is within 70 skyshards of the maximum. (This is particularly awkward because, as a Breton sorcerer, he's probably the guy I should focus on rather than the Altmer sorcerer who was my dungeon main for a long time.)

I'm not concerned about my admittedly overperforming pve magblade who is also super fun, albeit underwhelming, in pvp.
What I am concerned about, however, is teenage vaping.
Whatever that is, it sounds super bad and something I seem to have missed out on
