continued lack of stamina class identity (and ZOS PRAISED stam necro during the reveal for it)

many people are disappointed by the continued lack of meaningful and interesting stamina support for many classes, the stand outs being Sorc and DK, though I don't want to leave out other classes.

many (like myself) were hoping to get some of these changes during this patch (as this is the class update)

and yet nothing

meanwhile ZOS both touched on this issue and PRAISED necromancer for not only having a lot of stamina morphs, but for them providing unique gameplay alterations from the base skill, touching on the fact that most stamina morphs are just the original class skill, but stamina versions, while the magicka version would receive bonus effects.

I understand the annoyance in dealing with chants for "stam whip" or "stam frags" or what have you, but classes have many skills, and in those many skills are unused morphs, or flat out unused skills altogether. im sure some clever developers could come up with variants of the skills that would make stamina versions of the class have far more diversity or gameplay alterations other then just "its that skill, but scales of stamina"

what if:?

-sorc had a stam morph of mines acting more like FG trap?
-DK had a stam morph of ash cloud that acted more like hurricane?
-templars solar barrage was a stam skill?
-sorc had a stam version of liquid lightning (both morphs are dps increases anyway)
-Dk had a stam DD version of stormfist, removing the stun but giving it a short range heavy hitting spamable?
-DK had a stam version of deep breath?
-Sorc had a stam version of ward, similar to bone shield but within class (passives)
-tamplar had a stam version of healing ritual, opening it up to the coveted stam healer role?
-NB had a stam version of cripple?

I mean these are just things thrown out there, c'mon throw stamina a bone, we WANT to use class skills, we WANT to be unique from one another, and play differently then one another. a 2H DK should play differently then a 2H NB based on the class.

    Dragon Knights actually have two core stamina (offensive) abilities, same with the Warden and Templar, which help with the class identity. -Unlike magicka, they also have a large variety of weapon class abilities to choose from that alter their style, which magicka classes do not.

    For the DK, they could've made Giant Stone scale off magicka or stamina, but retain it magicka cost (since it is a magic ability) like they did with a few other classes' abilities.

    Have you actually played the class on PTS @Wing ... or is that long-winded opening post 100% shooting from the hip?

    Eh, it has some stuff, nothing I much wanted.

    The 10% DOT bonus promised me dreams but after a shortish 20 mins testing with the class I dont feel like I will get the utility I want out of it. That said, it clearly has some mad survive, its like the heavy armor meta incarnate as a class.
