Yeah sometimes mine are just brief, but occasionally they are anywhere between 40 seconds to 2 minutes. The ones after a wall has been repaired are the longest for me, but I have no idea what caused this one...

Looks like a lot of Latency is causing your problem. Console? Does Console have the ability to display FPS/Latency in the Settings as PC/MAC?

they wont fix this its a feature. zones arent seamless they were divided into smaller patches to increase performance. loading screen is a consequence of crossing the border between them. iam not sure but i think ive read this in patch notes

It is console. And no, we dont have that capability.

Here's the thing...only ESO does this. I also play FFXIV, Tera, and Neverwinter...in FFXIV PvP there's matches of 75 vs. 75...with full effects (meaning I can see my spells and other players spells) without a burp of lag in the least.

I have the best internet available in my state, and have found no throttle....fully wired connection. No wifi bs here.
Only happens in ESO. And as you see, there's a lot of players here, but it's no where close to 75 vs.75

This might actually explain why I always get a loading screen near the redguard tied up by the women between ales and bleaker, and why I get one on my way to bruma from DC

Loading screens are a feature. I've had them at 4 am when the server is mostly quiet, even the capitals, while I was looking at my bank.


I can't complain though. Even during prime time while porting through zones for the dailies, they're so fast I don't even have time to pick my phone and unlock it to check the forums.

PvE though. I can imagine the endless loading screens next week when trying to enter those Cyrodiil delves for the dailies....

Apparently they give you a "20 minute grace period" when you log out before you need to queue again upon logging in. Did you wait longer than 20 minutes?

So you logged back in to your apparently ESO+ account to wait in a queue to recieve more of the "unacceptable"? That does not exactly strengthen your, say, argument, does it?

Not entirely sure to be honest. Still, a "grace period" when logging into your account sounds dumb for an MMO. Queues to get into Cyrodiil I can completely understand, but to log into your account...

Argument? There is no argument. Random load screens during combat should not exist in the first place. There's no argument to be made on either side - it simply needs addressing

i suspect your laptop is not very effective at handling operations, these kind of loading screens tipically last 1-2 sec...

Anywhere in the North region of Cyrodiil I get constant loadscreens. Only 1 or 2 seconds but stops your horse.

It's been a few patches since this feature was implemented. My suggestion is to roll back to patch 1.5, sorry Wardens (not sorry).

Ye, I should probably upgrade this i7, 16GB ram piece of crap and my dusty old 70mb fibre optic cable. I have all settings down low, disabled grass, shadows, etc and optimised Windows to help ESO even more. I don't know what else I could possibly do.

Aye, around DC and Bruma is where I get a lot of stop-start load screens. Bleakers are fairly quick (maybe 5-10 seconds), and anywhere else a lot longer.

They need to upgrade their servers now while they can. This game is growing beyond their expectations and they need to upgrade now to keep that growth. Someone trying the game out for the first time won't stick around long if it has unreasonably long load screens and other PERFORMANCE issues.

I'm of the opinion that this is what happened. They grossly underestimated the population EU would bring in, and gave it smaller resources than that of NA.
I mean, come on. NA hosts oceanic, asia, south/central america, etc.. surely they have more players than we do, yet we're the ones with recurring problems, extended maintenances, login queues? Something isn't right there.

I do not get it.

You guys have been complaining for years and nothing has changed, some say that the PVP is even worse now than 3 years ago.

Why are you still playing? if that can be called playing.

I only play PVE (time to time BGs without problems) but if i ever have those problems i will stop playing, it's not the only MMO.
