Dungeon Dps dropout

Hi so trying to run a few vet dungeons to get some undaunted keys, actually have a few masks just need some shoulders, well I just got kicked for not doing enough dps
how do I know what's good , and how do I work it out, cp320 night blade dual wielding two gold daggers, I have bout 4k weapon damage and 50% crit,
I don't want to change too much cause I only have 22k health with a food buff, and always seem to run out of stamina,
I mean sometimes I do ok. in vet but more often then not I seem to be lacking , some advice please , should I just run normal for keys?

Well best run with guild or you can in normal and your weapon damage and crit doesn't matter if you don't have a rotation or bad in weaving i'd recommend you to watch dis

And what platform and server are you in we can team up, I do run pledges around this time in pc NA.

And if you're on PC there is an addon combat metrics that'll show your dps or you can practice in target dummy.

The dude doesn't just give you gear and skills to put on your bar...he explains the how and why of everything.
Then he gives you a rotation to follow.
Then he gives a dps parse to show that it works.

If only all content creators would do the same.
Yes, there's nothing like making your own build, but for those just starting out or those looking for a little help, it doesn't get better than Xynode.

By solving for 'X.' In a dungeon, if one DPS knows their percentage, it isn't hard to figure out the other's.

When the other DD sees he is doing 80% of the total group damage, it's pretty easy to figure out the other DD is a liability.

Same when I run on my healer. When I, as the healer, do more than 50% of the group damage, I am really wondering what the actual damage dealers are up to.

if keys is what you are after then do non DLC vet dungeons,will get you a lot of keys (Vaults of Madness,COA 1,Wayrest sewers,Banished Cells,Darkshade,Elden Hollow,Crypt of Hearts,FG )
Cyro golden vendor also sells shoulders from time to time,so check every Friday night ,earn some AP to buy them

22k health is too high. You only need 15k health on a stam dd, thats for stam resource purposes. Put all your attribute points into stamina. Get a maelstrom bow infused triat. Use Bi food (Max health max stam) or for stam recovery and lower health use Dubious camaron throne.

Gear wise I use Briarheart and vicious ophidian for 4 man dungeons and advancing yokeda with relequen for trials.
Monster set is your preference but I use velidreth some use kraghs, valkyn skoria or stormfist.

Now you need to work on a rotation. I've quit eso so I can't show you but I hit 56k dps on my stamblade. Look up on guides xynode has an easy nightblade rotation after that you can begin to do whats best for you.

OP is 320 CP and without a monster set. I doubt he has access to maelstrom gear at that point.
Plus, he does not have the resistances to run around with 15k, many mechanics that you can survive with max CP and 15k health are oneshots to low CP players. believe me, I run "training raids" with low CP players and they get oneshot by "usually not a oneshot"-mechanics when their health is that low.

Agreed on the rest though, watch guides and work on the rotation.

1. Install CMX add-on if you are on PC or on console just hit dummy target to determine your dps. There is usually dummy at guild house or you may buy your own for 50-60k as i remember. Also you may ask your friends if you can visit their houses to use dummies.
2. Fair dps requirement for vets from my experience (to things run smooth):
- vet1 versions and different black havens and corinums etc - 20k dps
- vet2 versions +vICP+vWGT+vMazzatun+vCradleofshadows - 25k dps
- other dlc vets - 30k dps
- vMoonhunter - 35k+ (the more the better)
3. So after you evaluate your dps you need to look build of high-end players, there are a lot of good youtubers, but for text versions as for newbies I'll recommend alcast site for sure. My dps increased 2-3 times after I applied what is recommended there
4. And bump up your CP. No matter what some people say, CP has HUGE impact on you dps and survival, cp600 and cp300 in same dungeon it's 2 different levels of difficulty.

Agree with @MartiniDaniels, true CP power is in defensive boosts. Higher resistances and survivability. You need to offset that in your sub Cp600.

As for damage, its all in the rotation. Just having decent gear will give you a step up, but understanding the raw combat mechanics of rotation + weaving will be the most effective way to enhance your dps.

The xynode vid linked is a very good place to start.

I hope you realize that 75% of the gear you posted is endgame gear, wich he cant get without a decent rotation as dps...

Hundings Rage is a crafted set and works nice for a starting dps.

Also if you are on ps4 eu, gimme a shout and I'll tank a few easy vets for you.

If you’re just trying to get shoulders you can get them on Normal, you’ll just get less keys. You’re probably fine for your CP level but if you were trying to run something like Fungal Grotto 2, Darkshade Caverns 2 or Banished Cells 2 on Vet the group might have been nervous as those are real DPS intensive dungeons.

There are plenty of viable builds om youtube.
Your back bar is very importand. If you have 4k wep dmg and stil get kicked for low dps reason then you do i wrong.
Look for a guide and start testing.

Step 1 would be to install CombatMetrics and actually get some DPS numbers from test dummy parses. See where you actually stand.

Hard to give advice when we dont know if you're a 8k DPS newbie or a 20k DPS getting-there who needs to practice their rotation.

With 4k weapon damage and 22k health I'll guess your Stam is about what .. 25-26k? That's why you're running low itself. Too much health for a dps, you're losing DPS by not having more Stam, both because max Stam boost damage and because you'll run it of it for skills. Go down to 18k health, make this difference all go to Max stamina, and you should be just as fine.

Oyf you run out of Stam, you heavy attack a lot, if you heavy attack a lot, your dps is low, there's no way around it.

yeah well if their are some forgiving guilds out there willing to help me out I would be keen,
seems I've run with some real a ss holes lately honestly I've been kicked bout 3 times this week, all on the last boss
one run it was my first wipe in the whole run, blame the lower cp I guess , they are usually cp 5-600

admit it was on maybe harder dungeons Banished cells white gold, but come on after I've spent 30mins with the group
trying my best just kicked,
Also should I change my stats, I have 10 points in health the rest stam, the reason I liked a little more health is cause I mainly
play pve doing world missions . just want to get a good monster set for a little bit more fun, thanks

There is a quest you can do in Clockwork city for a training dummy. I would get that then work on you rotations until you can hit around 20k DPS.

The problem with this game is the landscape is so easy it's a poor training ground for how to play your character, especially in veteran content.

Easy sometimes you watch say when your prepping buffong etc and not attacking or say get in a phase of dodging stuff you notice boss getting hit by that dps and his health isnt moving like min later hasn't lost 50k out of 5 mil health having to cycle through mechanics way to many times over... thats how you spot them without addons

5 × briarheart , 3 × agility , 4 × ferocity of gryphon
●Briarheart on body peices with infused trait on big peices like chest and leg and divines on rest that is hand , feet and belt
●Gryphon on weapon with head and shoulders
●Agilty on jewellery
Cost me around ~30k for yhis full gear in purple quality.

Makes no sense to be running 4 gryphon either, if you wanted to just run a 4 piece, just craft night mother's gaze. What would be better is running hundings+spriggans on the body and jewelry and then using agility weapons. Way more consistent damage then what you are running.

Briarheart for heals aka more surviveability and if you didn't read properly my character did not had any skill in crafting.
Infused for more stamina that is more resources low cp characters don't have that damge boost and resource pool that of high level you cannot do dps if you are dead or have 0 stamina left.

It's not really all that useful -- it take a few seconds to kill (300K health); it maybe good for starting out but it'll only teach you how to burst. The bigger dummies(3m) teach consistency and sustain.
