I like it a lot, I remember an old mmo who had that option. If you had lightning abilities, you could choose from a large number of colors for the skill.

But this could have great effects on performance, so it could be bad.

obviously spell crafting.
i love invisibility and casting cloak, but i want to use it on another new class, i tire of nightblade but i love casting invisibility.
and i would love make spells like invisibility in different time casts, 3 second 5 second casts, 1 minute casts 3 minute casts, i would make several types of invisibility spells.

Every time they started working on it, I couldn't help to get excited. But then they always "put it on the backburner" in favor of other things. I seriously hope they put Spellcrafting firmly back on the roadmap and make it happen soon!

Would add Crossbows as a ranged Magicka weapon into the weapons option Spears (which should be melee magicka) Sword & Orb / wands / etc.

I've been waiting 5 years (and counting) for a new Magicka weapon. Stamina have dual wield, 2h weapons, 1h and shield and bow, while magicka only have destruction and restoration staves. Stamina have twice the weapons.

Give us at least a 3rd magicka weapon... Stop with the ice theme for tanking, make ice magic a viable dps source, instead of that, give us a magicka weapon focused on tanking, with real tanking skills. It could be 1h and orb, or something else...

You talking about City of Heroes? It wouldnt affect performance unless the engine is so gimpy and strange that some colors are far easier for it to display than others.

Honestly they’re already doing the two I’m most excited about: a skill balance pass and then a passive balance pass. Beyond that performance always. But those two things have got me very excited for this year. They could potentially breath new life into most classes and change the balance of the game. A new weapon could be cool but only if it didn’t completely leave other lines in the dust and with the way ZOS normally releases new skill lines and classes to sell chapters idk that I’d be that thrilled. Especially since a lot of weapon skills lines already need work.

Choose the tutorial/Character start

Anyone new to ESO who also buys Elsweyr will be very confused. Since they will most likely start out there, which story wise makes no sense. They will basically be jumping in at the start of a new book in a large book series. With no clue what happened prior to Elsweyr.

Spellcrafting isn't even on the back burner anymore, so it probably shouldn't be on the list
The same goes for Capes/Cloaks - they were removed from the game because they are incompatible with the engine
Skill color changes means an exponential increase in client/server calculations, so that will have to wait

Yes, I had this idea when watching Elsweyr live and frankly, although I prefer Spellcrafting, I would not mind getting all my achiev back to get some nice mounts, you know?

A re-structuring of the rewards would be cool for the game - it has become clear that players ENJOY these rewards more than many other things.
