1 Chapter, 2 Dungeon DLCs, 2 Zone DLCs per Year

What do you think?

2 zone DLCs per year would make the story (or the game itself, rather) less dragging.

I would really love if they make 1 chapter and 3 story each year, and like we have now each chapter will have a trial, and story dlc may include an arena, trial or dungeon

Always preferred less quantity to maximize quality, I would be totally fine with 1 "chapterish" and the rest of the year improving the base game and considering the console community more as well:D

IMO should be 1 story/zone, 1 dungeon, 1 balance and 1 fix-it-all patches per year.

I love the dungeon DLC’s, they’re my favourite, but I would happily give one up a year for another zone or new PvP content. 1 chapter, 1’dungeon DLC and either 2 story zone DLC’s or 1 story zone DLC and new or updated PvP content.

How about a PvP DLC or at least not having half of the DLC's exlusively catered to the 1% playerbase which enjoys PvE group endgame? I would already be happy about another solo Trial at this point...

A Solo Trial like VMA is still technically the 1% though.

Ah, I should've made a poll instead.. anyway, it seems that there is a consensus that more Zone DLCs would benefit everyone a lot. I mean, the DLCs are not free anyway so why not give us, the players, what we really want. We are willing to pay, right? I mean, the mental effort that went into making FO76 should've been put in to ESO.

Nothing that went into FO76 should ever find its way into ESO

I agree with above should be 1 chapter 2 zone dlc s and 1 dungeon dlc .
Especially as posted elsewhere on the forum that the dungeon dlc s are soon going to out number the base game dungeons but no extra undaunted quest giver .

A couple of base game/free DLC including the missing dungeons, like Direfrost 2, Arx 2, Selene's 2. Vaults 2. Could add two one year and two the next. Difficulty would be base game instead of DLC one. More pledge objectives, no more dungeons people don't want to PUG.

More area DLCs. Less things people avoid. Less things designed to cater for the ultra top gamers. People like to complete content. Running dungeons/trials in normal and neither enjoying them to their full potential nor looking forward to spending time in them is bad.

Throw the PvP fellows a bone! I wouldn't say 'add an IC2' because it's been proven that open PvP in a PvE are is not what players want. Besides, why does PvP always have to be about killing each other? Add races. Add platform challenges. Add gauntlets with enemies and environmental damage. Timed challenges with randomized objectives similar to DB and TG; whoever finds the target first, wins.

QoL should take priority over content. Always. I know I'm quite biased due to not really caring about new content but there is no excuse for not focusing fully on persistent issues and instead distracting/attracting players with a new shiny.

So I'd like to see a big DLC (""""chapter""""), at least a quality of life quarter, a story DLC and I suppose a single dungeon DLC per year wouldn't be so bad.

I think my personal favorite format would be a dungeon dlc, a chapter, a quality of life patch (similar to one Tamriel where they improve older content or gameplay mechanics), and a small zone dlc. Two dungeon packs in a year feels boring to me.

I like all of the mentions about a portion of the year dedicated to quality of life. I think this is much needed. They could even throw small new things in with it, but nothing too major.

As long as dungeon DLC's include trials of some kind, I wouldn't mind a format something like this:

Q1: Dungeon DLC -1 or two undaunted dungeons
    Q2: Zone DLC with story.
Q3: Quality of life quarter, fixes, updates and perhaps add a smaller amount of new content (a trial or 1 man arena)
Q4: Story dlc and perhaps some story integration. (My first thought was dragon attacks spread to more and more zones and become an addon for everyone not just for those who buy the DLC)

Something along those lines, they could even follow a biyearly format where one year is like above, another year is structured a little different. I do enjoy entire years dedicated to a single theme.

    How about some pvp love?

    no nerfs, I said

    Dude what?
There is even a pvp comunity in this game, nerfs don't affect pve this much, you can still push your 200k+ dps, yes?

Yeah, I’m a bit burned out on Dungeons and although I don’t think they should be axed all together I think maybe they should add them once per year rather than twice.

Even if they added some small areas here or there throughout the year to fill up the map would be a welcome change. An area that comes to mind is the small strip of land in Morrowind near the Rift. Add a few quests to do there and were solid.

I do not understand,. We get 2 zone DLCs and 2 dungeon DLCs per year already. Unless OP is trying to suggest Zos put out 5 updates per year without gaining any additional revenue from many players.

The cadence of new content every quarter seems to work well. I would rather quality than quantity. OP seems to be suggesting quantity is better.

We use to get 2 new story zones a year but that changed when they made chapters and did not want to give it to eso+ at the time

So now we get only 1 a year and still no compensation for it

    No more Dungeon DLCs!
We already have enough dungeons, maybe even too many.
Let's have more story telling and quality of life updates :)
Some videos I recorded for fun: Main character:
PC EU main: Universe - AD magicka Sorcerer, Former Emperor, Grand Overlord, The Merciless, Trial Bosses Solo Champion
Top alts: Genius(stamina/sagicka Dragonknight) The Force(stamina Nightblade) and other chars.
PC NA main: The Magic - AD magicka Sorcerer

Odd. I thought we got both Summerset and Murkmire in 2018. That seems to be two stories. Two extreemly very separate stories.

2017 brought us Vvardenfell and CWC. Again, two very separate zones and two separate stores. What was great about them was the larger thread that tied them, and Summerset together to create an overall longer and more complex store. But each stand on their own as well.

So your point seems lost in either translation or something else.
    Really, idk
