Zos, if you don't have the, hardware upgrade, there is a limit to how much you can optimize your server, if you just don;t have the power, buy more, if it's a software problem, then do your job better.
Because this situation is *** stupid, and there is a limit to how much people are willing to accept, either fix your ***, or there will be long term consequences, we have already seen how much the community is getting more and more disillusioned with you over the years, you better not make it worse, because if you do, as soon as a better mmo is on the market, people will leave in flocks, for example i did not play eso during legion, and if the next expansion gets better i plan to move to wow if that's the case.

Come on guys, it's self evident at this point, there is no point arguing about it, there are still bugs from years ago still unfixed, the queue system is still garbage, this game still lack a difficulty mode to counter the incremental power we get with cp (something like m+ for wow), and the separation of pvp and pve which has been asked for years and years, is basically a distant dream, and so much more....
And instead of making the game better they just decided to stop cp progression for the time being, it's obvious that they are taking the path of least effort at this point, you can disagree, but what we have right now speaks for itself.Edited by JinMori on April 10, 2019 9:35PM -

This is highly ridiculous. They've temporarily forced the login queue to fix performance issues throughout the entire server due to how many people have started playing the game in recent time, especially on EU. People on these same forums have very obviously been pointing out these same performance issues for a while now on the EU megaserver. And suddenly, because people have to live with a temporary login queue, that somehow is worse than having an entire megaserver basically being unplayable for everyone forever, people like you are literally saying they just shouldn't even sell the game anymore because they are fixing problems to make the game better.
You guys really do just have to chill out. Stop overreacting. Just because there's a temporary login queue to play on EU doesn't mean you won't ever get to play the game again.

But what you are doing seems to just blatantly be complaining for the sake of complaining. There isn't any real reason to it besides perhaps wanting to gain attention, in which case, congrats, you got it.

- ZOS implemented a login queue to reduce (not fix) the impact of this issue.
- The login queue will negatively impact on the playing time of anyone trying to play in prime time.
- ZOS has specified that the queue is temporary. We have no idea how much time this refers to.
- More information has been promised today. A speedy fix would make such a communication pointless.
All of the above suggests to me that either:- ZOS have been trying to the fix the issues but cannot do so in a timely manner -> Lengthy impact.
- ZOS has only just started actively trying to fix the issues -> Lengthy impact.

The two highlighted statements are mutually exclusive. You cannot state with any certainty that it is a "relatively small, temporary thing" without direct experience (speaking to the size of the impact) or knowing exactly when it will end (speaking to how long the process will take). -

It makes all the difference since you didnt have to put up with abbysmal PC EU server performance for 3 months (since i came back to play ESO) and just being ignored by ZOS and be told by likes of you that its the PLAYER'S problem and NOT the SERVER problem and we just have to suck it up because our PCs/connection/ w/e sucks and we should "improve" or do pointless tests (that btw show clear SERVER isue but you still get reply its not server issue by customer support when you send in a ticket)when they literally said it themselves that they put in a login queue while they work on fixing EU megaserver performance.

STO removes UGC content and increases the grind sending many of us over here to ESO. ESO adds day after day of maintenance preventing play and then adds a bloody login queue to also stop us playing. We had a load of people last night who just gave up and went to watch Netflix.

EU players are pissed off cause we told ZOS for months now, that PC EU has very very hard issues with performance. yet nothing changed, and now when new ppl come to the game, and the server starts to crush under the load...now they implement a queue and start working on the problem.

You'd be surprised how long an MMO takes to die, especially with microtransactions. As long as enough people keep subscribing/buying crowns, ZOS will be happy to provide the bare minimum. MMO players don't easily throw away the years'-long and often expensive investment they've put in a game. Publishers know this. In fact, they design games around this. -

In every possible sense you have demonstrated in your rant that you do not know what you’re talking about. As an EU player, I can tell you that we have plenty to complain about. And for the record, they told us that they’d fix the performance issue in Cyrodiil about 2 years ago, so I’m not holding out much hope that they’ll fix this issue any time soon.
And to ZoS..... you are a bunch of total incompetents.
