Time of writing this 10:42 am UK time. Says in the mssage servers are back up 12:00 EDT. It is 05:40 EDT so about 6 hours longer?!
Why do they have long maintenance during events? Servers won't be up until 17:00 hours.

I work my ass off nights, all week, so I can be here for my kids and make dinner, do homework, laundry, cleaning and all that shet - and dammit it annoys me when they are finally at school or friends or doing their own things and I need to spend 8 hours TRYING TO STAY AWAKE in case the school calls, or they need me - for my game to be down for 8 hours. 8 frickin hours. It's basically the only thing I have to keep my eyes open when the weather is like this.
People have LOTS of reasons for being annoyed at 8 hour long maintenance and it's none of our business to tell them otherwise.
JUST BECAUSE it annoys me/us, does not mean I/we am/are complaining about maintenance - I know it's vital - but it's no one else's business who complains about it or not and no one is asking you or anyone else for 'free time planning' advice.
Even if they are complaining? So what?
I swear it boils my *** when people are all *mememmeee get a life/job/sun whatever*

The guy is in UK. Having lived there for 16 years until February this year, going out and take deep breaths of fresh air this time of the year would result to a good cold at best, or pneumonia at worst.

Hahaha! Almost ditto. Took a break from December while moving from US to Asia, took a day and a half to download game on Faux Fiber, and sat down to.....a huge patch! Haha...gag(choking while laughing).0
