Inventory Capacity & Stacking

@ZOS_GinaBruno

So many people have asked for this, so why isn't ZoS paying attention to these needs?
New sets and items keep getting introduced to the game, but yet we don't get more bank or guild bank spaces.

We need more bank space.
We need more guild bank space.
Just like items automatically stack when you put them in your personal bank, they need to automatically stack on the character and in the guild bank.
And give us more guild slots so that we can be a part of more than 5! There are SO many great guilds out there. Plus a lot of us have had to create our own personal guilds just so we can have more storage b/c the 500 capacity just isn't enough.

Maybe we need players that are a bit more kind and patient and not so judgmental about some not realizing there was a post made on the same day.

Give ESO+ subscribers a bound gear bag that can be accessed from any toon. Problem solved.

    This is a great idea!
I also wish they would give us a Siege bag as well.

Or just let it stack. Probably wouldnt really need the bag. Although I guess it would be convenient to not have to pull siege from your bank every time you swap characters in PVP.

I remember after one of those events, I ended up with like 100 forward camps. I ended up destroying a bunch of them, and then not long after, they started stacking. It was definitely a [snip] moment. Haha

This as it doesn’t make sense to keep creating new threads when you aren’t bringing anything new to the conversation.

Unless OP is being extremely unrealistic ask thinking Zos should have already acted on the multiple threads created this week they are fairly wrong in their OP.

Fact check here. During the past 3 years Zos has effectively increased our storage potential three times. So to suggest Zos is not listening in this issue seems to be a pretty false statement.

    This is true.

It's also true that ZOS is in control of all the info, past, present, future.
They know what they've done, and will do.

Assuming that they're paying attention: They know they're giving us more stuff to horde, it would make sense that they know they haven't given us more storage space at the same rate.

I won't need more storage space if they would just let stuff that doesn't stack now, start stacking now.
There are many things that could easily stack, even to '10' that they decided they don't want us to be able to save/horde.

In the interest of transparency: Every time that storage is eased, prices of non-stacking stuff goes up, because people no longer need to put stuff up for sale to make space available, until the status quo equilibrium is achieved again, and players have gotten used to the new normal.
The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you used the word horde.

From that it seems you are saying Zos needs to give us enough storage to store everything they have added to the game, maybe enough to store 2 of everything because you want to horde everything you come across. That is basically what you have said.

Adding a request for furniture storage. Give us a furniture warehouse/bag where we can place our furniture, which can be accessed from any home, like the storage chests. I dislike using houses as storage, since those items aren't accessible in another home, so I would have to go to that storage home and retrieve any items I think I might want to use in decorating another home.

As it is, three of my storage chests are full of furniture, and I still had to put a lot of things out at the Psijic Villa. My bank is full of a few gear sets, as well as some of my other storage chests. One has some misc stuff in it. I don't have any stored on alts, since I don't use any of them as mules. They are actual characters that I play.

I took a look yesterday in my crafting bag, at the sheer number of style mats in the game. Those would fill up probably a third or more of my bank slots if I didn't have the bag. Then there are the parts of style mats, like coarse chalk, which you need 10 of to refine into fine chalk. Not to mention the mats introduced with JC. Between the usual raw and refined mats, we have raw and refined forms of most of the trait stones, plus raw/refined of all of the upgrade mats.

Then, of course, there's all the new gear added each update. Storage has not kept up with all of that. If you are ESO+ and have the crafting bag, though, a lot of inventory woes are alleviated. Which is why, I think, that they are reluctant to add more storage.

Use the search function instead of posting a smarmy comment about someone pointing out there was already a thread about this same topic. If you were that concerned about your agenda, you would of checked to see if it were posted before.

I see this as more a player problem than a game problem. I am basing this on my own habits. I fill all my spaces with stuff and say hey I need just a few more slots. I get a few more slots and I am happy for a couple of days then those slots are full. Last time I did an inventory purge I had nine Olorime breeches and still cringed when I decon'd a couple. Even worse is the number of willpower rings I have. I keep those around saying I am going to put them in the guild trader but the trader is always full of other stuff that sells for more. Hard to get rid of things I might be able to sell.

In short it doesn't matter how many slots we get most of us are going to fill them up quick and then want more.

I wouldn't mind a furniture bag though. I have two large houses that I call hoarding houses just for furniture I might want to use in my other houses some day. Have some furniture scattered around a couple of other houses as well. Looking for a certain piece of furniture by hopping from house to house is something I could do without. A place where all my unused furniture just hangs out would be nice.

Oh and when Amazon had a sale on the base game I grabbed a 2nd account and that one is quickly filling with motifs I think I might someday sell. I'm always going to want more slots.

We need more guild bank space.

We don't need more space. We need fewer items. The sheer amount of crap that's been added over years does not just fill banks. Guild stores are littered with gazillion master writs, recipes, style materials, motif pages, gear with useless traits etc. It's getting harder to actually find stuff in stores, and so you're less inclined to throw away stuff that you don't need right now.
