Worm prices

Why is a stack of worms going for about the same price as a stack of longfin?

Are there possibilities of catching motifs or rare equipment in the oceans now?

Yes, in Summerset you can get Pyandonean motif pieces and valuable Psijic recipes. If I remember correctly that is.

You can get Pyandonean motif chapters from Pyandonean Bottles which can be fished anywhere in Summerset, not just sea.

The Psijic motif chapters drop from Geysers.

So I guess people buy them at these prices to complete achievements then in addition to their scarcity I guess.

Is this scarcity a dev intended feature?

The worms are easily gotten from zombie farming and plants (alchemy farming) but if you spend all day farming worms then you dont have the time to fish as much. The fish stand a chance to drop the Perfect Roe which sell for 10k each so it is a convenience thing for most people, takes between 5-12 bait for each fishing hole to burn out. Plus achievement for all the rare fish from each zone.

@Verbal_Earthworm No, I mean the Psijic recipes, not motifs. The Artaeum takeaway broth for example. Those are only obtainable from Waterclogged Psijic Satchels when fishing in Artaeum, which only has Ocean fishing locations as far as I know.
Also, I didn't claim it was only Ocean bait that is affected. That other bodies of water work to get the pyandonean motif doesn't diminish the fact that the bait price per piece rises. You could expect similar situations with other bait and fish from their respective water type assuming that it is due to the Pyandonean motif and not the Psijict Recipes.

So what prices? What platform? What servers? No facts. No proof. Nothing to go on.
Not my quote but I love this saying

"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"

Yes. But the vast majority of Summerset's fishing holes are Ocean, so much so that the Devs had to increase the number of other types.

Ask in guild chat for worms, lots who has eso+ and don't fish has thousands of them
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Well that was an impressive necro. Not the biggest I've seen, but impressive nonetheless.
