Sure, I've "accidentally" learned something on an alt before the main. Tho typically it was a stolen recipe / motif and I'd rather be sure it was learned rather than "accidentally" lost to a guard. Also, helps that my characters are fully capable of crafting for themselves.

Well yeah, you stick them in the bank, but when going through Jubilee boxes, open and collect, you're automatically put at the top of your inventory where the furnishing plan went and there goes the clicking too fast...And it's not just clicking too fast, there's so much lag in all areas of the game, sometimes there's a stutter.

The other option, and the only one available for console users, is to slow down when opening containers.

And I'd argue that those are completely unnecessary as well - more so in fact. Selling or using rare motifs or plans are arguably far more impactful than destroying a batch of crown poisons. They could possibly add confirmation dialogue to the sale or consumption of rare motifs/plans - and then give us an option to turn off confirmations - ALL confirmations, to be clear. The request from the OP is not that crazy, when fencing stolen, blue quality goods, you get a warning that items can not be bought back from the fence and you have to confirm the transaction.
Some items you delete from your inventory, demand a typed "DESTROY" confirmation.

You are correct it is not necessary.
Some people are persistent in being asked to be protected from their own actions (but blame it on the game).
I am not suggesting OP is blaming it on the game, but they are certainly asking Zos to protect them from their own choices because they cannot control themselves.

Because I look before I click.
I might sometime mess something up, but... then it will be my own darn fault for being too hasty!

Not sure how it works on pc, but on console if you are opening containers and one of them has a furnishing diagram or a provisioning recipe inside, instead of staying in the container category the ui jumps to the consumable category. It is extremely goofy.
