The Double Tap configuration option for Dodge-and-Roll is bugged

In my experience, choosing the "double tap" option for a Movement direction key to indicate the direction in which the player wants a character to Dodge-and-Roll entails a risk that the gameware will interpret holding any Movement direction key down long enough to signify a Dodge-and-Roll in the corresponding direction.

IMHO, that behavior is a "bug" in the gameware, since I have not pressed-and-released the key at least twice within the configured timespan.

Also, in my experience, higher Network Latency requires that timespan to be longer in order for that option to be effective at all. If the configured timespan for "double tapping" the Movement direction key is too short, then the game client and/or megaserver will entirely ignore the player's attempt to have the character Dodge-and-Roll. This can become a significant problem during any Combat, because the Network Latency fluctuates constantly and randomly between approxiately 120 ms and a higher 3-digit time-span -- sometimes increasing into an amount displayd in red digits -- (i.e., during Combat and, generally, during any Group activity). It never falls below 100 ms., and is seldom even that low even while there is no input to process or change in the output to display.

For that matter, during the past three years there has been an increasing frequency of incidents in which the key that I press is ignored entirely, regardless of the action to which it is bound. As far as I can determine, the Coolermaster Quickfire TK keyboard (which has Cherry brown mechanical keys) is not that worn out, at least not yet.
