How to get early access to elsweyr?

Do I just have to pre-order Elsweyr?

Can I wait like a day before early access, then pre-order it, and still get early access? I just don't understand how it all works.

Just pre-order it, you can pre-order after the EA started and start playing it right away too. Pre order is up until 1 sec before release(4th June). If you are on PC, if you are on console you have to wait.

I wait until checked it out on PTS of principle. Yes its an sure buy but.

I assume Elsweyr is downloaded for all on 20 May on pc. Even if not pre order you will still see new gear and can buy crafted and overland, also buying motifs and blueprints.

In one of the PAX livestreams I think they said 14th or 15th of April for Elswyr on the PTS.

15th at the earliest (around 19:00 or 20:00 UTC) - it's the Monday & there there other posts on these fora suggesting that week
