Faction lock the right campaign

I see a lot of people supporting faction lock and I can kinda understand why, but I think faction locking Vivec is not a good move. Most of AP boosting and emp switching happen in Shor and other dead campaigns where there isnt a lot of population to defend against them. Remember when Zos still had the other 7-day CP campaigns after double AP? People went there solely for getting emp on multiple toons. Vivec is always populated so it’s a lot harder to push for emp and AP boost, let alone scroll grief since it’s always pop-locked during prime time. There’s enough people to fight and prevent those from happening. I think keeping Vivec non locked and faction lock Shor is better.

Vivec PS4 NA is exactly the campaign that needs locked the most.
Shor PS4 NA is also very populated, maybe Shor PC NA will get more activity now.

Agree. Boosting happens in all campaigns.

The 30 day campaigns offer the most scope for fighting for your faction, day after day, so it makes sense that they are faction locked.

Whereas if you just want to have fun with your friends on another alliance, want to farm transmute stones on multiple characters, or decide to troll, you won't make as much of a difference on the 7-day campaign.

noCP 30 day campaign also shouldn't be faction locked. WHy are people forgetting about noCP?

Either that, or they need to add an unlocked no CP 7 day campaign.

I'll no longer get the opportunity to read each alliance's zone chat - but, it'll be interesting to see just how much some of the trash that goes on there gets curtailed by re-instituting faction lock...

I'm guessing it will still be possible to faction hop as long as you remove your old alliance character from the campaign...

10/10 would lie regarding the faction lock if they are actually affected. 🤔

Maybe Just maybe the server would be able to handle the population if the population drops in Vivec, Zos know's they cannot provide the service they were promising so anything to reduce population is going to increase performance.
