    We don't need cut scenes.

Oh gods no. I have enough play time wasted watching loadscreens and the occasional slideshow. Damned if I'd be interested in adding cutscenes to that too. Then I might as well throw in the towel and watch a video instead.

    Nope.

Cutscenes are very hit and miss anyway. I don’t think they would add anything to my enjoyment of the quests and might significantly detract from them. They are the very definition of lazy fluff over game content and playability. I am not playing the game when I watch them, I am watching TV. If I want to watch TV there are many many better programmes for significantly less cost. I would rather have a satisfying game playing experience (a boss that provided a well balanced challenge for instance) than a crappy cutscene.

Additionally, anything that enables ZOS to pull back from game development and content creation (and cutscenes, like their ‘exciting’ series of trailers is NOT game development) is a retrograde step.

I don’t care a bit about their movies, trailers or commercials, they add nothing to my game playing experience.

Final Fantasy's story is whats makes it good, not the cutscenes. Adding those to ESO would suck resources that as someone already mentioned would be of better use ELSWEYR...and beyond! ;)

Final Fantasy XIV for example has a lot of cutscenes . The game is full of them. Its also considered the MMO with the best stories. That most likely in my opinion is a big part of why.

Then if your "opinion" is to compare it to Final Fantasy (the best MMO which is purely subjective and we both full well know this is in-correct), your opinion is wrong. If you're going to make a suggestion at least put some damn effort into it.

he is right so idk why u trying to say its in-correct? go away with your opinion :P

Most people would just click through it anyway.

After the 3rd-4th play through most people would just find it annoying and slow down the gameplay.

I agree. In WoW it was great the first time, but really teeth-grinding to sit through again with alts.

There are a lot of stories in the game. But they really don't grab me that much. Even the main stories seem to get lost in the gameplay. I really think that if they added cutscenes with action and such to dramatize some of the better moments in the game the stories would be better. Usually the stories are told and conveyed however by an NPC standing still in front of you.

I would really rather not have the game take away the control of my character and be forced into a "sweeping cinematic cutscene". If I wanted to watch a movie, I'd be watching a movie. As much as I enjoyed *some* of the cutscenes in other games, I hated every time I ended up locked into a cutscene that took forever and especially when what happened was not only totally out of my control, but not something I wanted to do it simply aggravated the heck out of me. In the worst case scenarios in some of the stories in this game, getting the quest done without needing to sit through the consequences is not a bad thing.

TSW used cutscenes. Great story line game.

They used them in dungeons too! It was 100% terrible.

ESO though doesn't really use them, nor does it need too.

well i like more multiple choice/consequences in the game than cutscanes but they are nice too
But i feel zos is taking the resources from this game (money and meatware haha) to make others games

I hate cut scene with a passion. They’re such a waste of resources, I want to play, not watch some crappy video.
Looking for any guildies I used to play with:
    Havoc Warhammer - Alair
LoC EQ2 - Mayi and Iskiab
PRX and Tabula Rasa - Rift - Iskiab
Or anyone else I used to play games with in guilds I’ve forgotten
