I have a ticket open for 5 days now regarding a bug that makes my game unplayable.

Despite my numerous attempts of making contact with you people I cannot. I’ve had not one reply or reassurance that this was even being handled. I’m literally waiting in the dark hoping this gets fixed.

ZOS really needs to work on their customer service... it’s probably the worst in any video game I’ve ever seen.

    You need to provide a ticket number. That is how they look these things up.

    @ZOS_BillE can you get them some help, after they provide a ticket number.

    I think it’s the worst feeling as a customer to not have the slightest clue as to if a problem is actually being handled.

    I’ve been sitting here for 5 days waiting for an update to my ticket but haven’t heard anything. Meanwhile others are getting the same issue fixed within 24 hours.

    Yep still waiting here! It would help just having someone from ZOS to explain to me what exactly they are doing instead or the generic we are working on it statements. Just makes me feel pretty forgotten!

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team. My name is Brad and I am an Escalations Agent here with the Support Team.

    I wanted to reach out to you and thank you for your patience as we investigate the issue which you and several other players have recently experienced where some characters did not properly convert during our recent database upgrade, implemented when the Wrathstone Update went live. This has caused various issues, including preventing players from properly repair their equipment.

    We believe we have identified a fix, and we will be implementing some changes this afternoon.

    In order to avoid further delays, and waiting until the next available patch window, we are going to attempt to fix the account in a Live environment. Doing so requires us to ensure that nobody attempt to access the account while edits are being made, so we will be putting a temporary suspension on the account in question. This is not related to any Terms of Service violations, it is simply a precaution to prevent further delaying the fix.

    We plan to begin this process soon, and will follow up with you once it is done to let you know you can again access your account.

    Hello,

    Thank you again for your patience. We have completed the work on affected accounts which had been previously unable to properly repair gear or edit items. In order to resolve the issue, it was necessary to temporarily freeze the accounts, but you should now be able to log back in.

    To complete the process, we recommend logging into each of your characters at least once, at your earliest convenience.

    If you continue to have issues, please feel free to let us know.

    Ok so I logged on it all works however my Selistrix's shoulders were still missing. Waiting to hear back about getting those back. I would have also been pleasant to find a gift or something for our trouble but I guess it wasn't worth it...I just know from my experience in customer service that that goes a long way to restore faith.

    I got the same email you guys just posted. I was so hyped to get back on the game finally.

    I go on to my problem character, I notice the gear is broken. I say to myself “ah I probably just gotta repair it and then I’ll be good.”

    So I repair the armor and then for *** and giggles I log out. I come back moments later and boom, gear is broken again! Then I check and all the gear is broke. In my inventory again!

    It seems like whatever they did, it didn’t work.

    This is just my one character that has this problem, my warden... my favorite character to play.

    Just bumping for zos attention! Need either my selistrix shoulders I lost during the bug or the 8 keys it took to get them back!
