It does, PvP players use this to sell transmute crystals, both nirnhoned and some jewelry ones.AcadianPaladin wrote: »I'm not sure. I do believe however that if you decon a transmuted item that if it yields trait material the material will be for its transmuted trait. The implication being that one could transmute an item to nirned, then decon it to increase one's nirn stash. Again, not sure but I think I've seen discussions on that suggesting it.
Again, not sure here, but I wonder if you can transmute an item that has already been transmuted. I've not tried so don't know. If not, that could explain the value of having the item clearly marked as transmuted.
I'm hoping someone who really knows may post and enlighten both us.
Transmutation makes the item bound. No selling or research.

Does it just indicate that if it's deconned that it won't give that trait material back? It's a little annoying having to see it forever.

How can you farm NIRNHONED piece?

I have grinded everyday Valkyn Skoria Heavy Infused or divine for 6+ months (just 1 run / day no time for more) and same for the shoulder in proper trait, than came transmutation and I grinded transmutation stones for the next 7-10 days to transmute all those crappy traits even though I do not enjoy PvP as much as some players do. But still I honestly do not care that we can see that weapon/armor has been transmuted, it is not like the icon with it being transmuted is displayed before my eyes 24/7.
Anyways my point is it is not shaming to not be able to get trait you wanted from drop it means RNGesus was not on your side.
