How Accurate is the UESP build calculator?

I am wondering if anyone uses the UESP build calculator. I am not sure why but when I copy my current character and input all my items the spell damage displayed is way off compared to what is displayed in UESP. For example my in game characters spell damage is at 1891. In UESP my spell damage is 2588. I feel like the correct value I should be at is 2588 and there is actually something wrong with my character.

Some information:

Characters are the same level.
I have not applied any champion points on either end.
All my items are duplicated exactly. Same enchantments and traits.
All my skills are duplicated exactly. All the same passives and skill bar.
All items are purples.
Same food
Both scenarios I am unbuffed.

What am I missing here? I always see builds talk about spell damage that I know I will never reach because I feel my stats don't line up.

Never had any problems with it showing wrong stats. are you wearing any sets with a spell power proc? if so try checking the sets tab in uesp to see if they are active.

I dont have any spell power procs. Thats the thing, I Think UESP stats are right but my characters are wrong. Maybe I should open a ticket with zennimax or something.

I use it for all my builds and I've never had any problems. If you click the box next the the spell damage stat when you're editing it you can see how the value was calculated.

I think I found the descrepency. Its this on UESP:

Buff.SpellDamage 20%

Removing this causes my character to go right back to the value I have. Does anyone know where that value comes from?

Surge or Spell Power Potions. (Major Sorcery)

Yeah it is from rattlecage. Now I am more confused because If I switch to my other skill bar without rattlecage the buff on UESP goes away but the numbers are still wrong.

Lol. Sometimes the hardest thing with the build editors is figuring out what's not there from one build to the next.
