So... you're giving them money for implementing a feature that should've been in the game in the first place? Nice try, ZO$.

Awh, come on. Let the people be happy that they got something awesome pumped into their favorite game, even if it was a late addition. :)

Thanks ZoS! While it didn't improve a ton for us PC players, I can't imagine how good it must feel for those on consoles. It's things like this and the zone guide that remind us that not everything ZoS does is 100% because they need to milk the player of every dime they have.

    you?

Keep subscribing? Or supporting in some other fashion.

That's what I do, at any rate. If something happens in an Update that really cheeses me off, I'll put my money elsewhere for a couple of months. If they keep putting out content and whatnot that I enjoy, then I support them monetarily.

That said, I also believe they like reading "Thank you" threads every once in a while. It helps to break up the vitriol ;)

Appreciation for basic functionality? Do you show appreciation to the restaurant when they serve your food on a plate instead of throwing it on the floor?

By searching for exactly the same thing for every trader in a zone and then change zones.

Whoops, UI error! No items found. /reloadui. No items found. Change zones. No items found.

Log out and back in. Fixed, temporarily.

Yeah, great concept and nice presentation, ruined by poor coding and awful QA.

Broken when you change zones. You have to change one of your parameters to get it to search again or it returns the no item extant error. If you select the name search box it breaks the UI so badly you have to log out and log back in to fix it.

How you manage to screw up a simple db search is beyond me.

I find it works better if you remove the quotations that it automatically places after you finish typing.

You shouldn't need to reloadui or log out, just go in to your recent searches and reselect the top one. Takes an extra 2 seconds after a zone change and works every time for me.

I'm really loving the unit price addition too, makes it so much easier buying master writs. Now if only there was a way to filter out the jewellery ones!

Nothing, its a basic feature nearly every other mmo with a market place has and a feature players have asked for since the game came out 5 YEARS AGO, the fact they added it after so long doesn't scream to me "listening to community feedback" but something they were eventually going to implement anyway.
They deserve no praise or admiration for adding basic and bordering required features.

A simple thank you is enough. While I am EXTREMELY pleased with the addition, it was really a huge oversight that it wasn’t in the game from day one. How ESO shipped without a guild trader search option is honestly beyond me.

I assume that You don't believe in Tipping anyone either. It's the job of the waitress to bring your food. She is being paid by the restaurant. So you don't tip, no matter how good the service is, right?

That's funny. Obviously you did not read the thread about the Console peeps complaining about how hard Surveys are.

And it is Cheats. Get it right please.

    .

I assume you aren’t a careful reader or like to hypothesize to the extreme? My example was pretty to the point and idk how you’d extrapolate some weird tangent on tipping from that.

For the record, I always tip, at least 20%. But if we follow your ridiculousness, and tie it to my analogy: if the waitress threw my food on the floor, I would not tip.

It’s the job of the waitstaff to bring my food in a timely and professional manner (i.e. on a plate and without spitting in it). Do that basic service and you’ve got yourself a tip. ESO not having a search function for their already abhorrent Trader UI for FIVE YEARS is neither timely or professional. No tip for ZoS, sorry.

dont even start that argument, alot service jobs bring you things, do you tip them? BTW do you also tip the cook for making your food? they do the majority of work.

That's how you show appreciation for them selling loot boxes. They won't make the connection that you wanted to reward them for improving the UI. All they'll see is: loot boxes sell, let's make more of this crap.

No, I missed that poll. I don't find surveys difficult; I know where they all are, along with skyshards and 80% of the lorebooks. I'm from a generation that had to remember telephone numbers, understand maps, and find words in a dictionary. Perhaps that training helps.
