I got t3 with 4 different characters and they all just got 25 wall repair kits and the 50 transmute stones.

That's what i mean. You're supposed to get one per account. I didn't get one.

Champion's cache is only given to members of the 1st place alliance. Did your alliance win this round?

You get a Champion's cache only when your alliance wins the campaign, as Phantasmal says.
You then only get items (jewelry now) if you are in the top % of your own factions players.
If you don't reach that %, you just receive gold and transmute gems.

Oh, i see. Didn't know that. So in other words, there's 0 reason to get t3 unless your faction is going to win the campaign. I didn't know that because DC had won all the previous ones in Sotha so i thought that's how it worked.

That's all I got for T3. And some gold.
    Enemy to many
    Friend to all

Yea, it's pretty dumb. It doesn't really matter how hard you work, since getting to tier 3 only takes 1 night of paying in a 30 day campaign. It really only matters if you happen to be on the alliance that one particular group of people has decided will win that campaign. For a long time, on PCNA, they had decided that would be DC and now it seems they have changed their minds. If you want the loot you just gots to follow them around. I know, it's stupid.

On the bright side, those folks have decided that instead of just putting spies out at all the keeps and porting a faction stack around to 70 v 5 anybody who tries to take anything that they will now simply cap everything, switch toons/alliances and cap everything the other way. It's a much more fun meta since something is now happening and you can actually earn some AP.

I get ZOS problem, it is really hard to make PVP compelling and rewarding for most players since you can't control the actions of any of the players who ultimately comprise the playing environment. On the other hand, their reward structures often make it look like they arn't trying at all. At least there are no longer PVE buffs that make it impossible to do a leaderboard run unless you are homed in a campaign where you own the whole map or lifetime former emp buffs that make it so any toon you want toe be BIS has to have been emp.
I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

It depends on the rank in score, your faction had in the end. Only rank 1 gets you more than you got, just as it always was (except for the transmute geode).

You reveal yourself best in how you play.

    Kelces - Argonian Templar
Farel Donvu - Dark Elf Sorcerer
Navam Llervu - Dark Elf Dragonknight
    Aniseth - Wood Elf Warden
    Therediel - Wood Elf Templar
    Nilonwy - Wood Elf Nightblade
    Jurupari - Argonian Warden
    Kú-Chulainn - Argonian Sorcerer
    PC - EU

If you get yourself into the top 100 of your faction, I think that guarantees you Gold jewelry items.
After this you'll get Purple jewelry for the next 100 or so *I think*.
Being new-ish to the game, those sets will be highly sought after and could easily bag you 500k + gold if you are lucky enough to get one of the 'better' sets.
And even if you get the 'throw-away' sets, people will pay good money for Gold jewelry to deconstruct for materials.

The only reason people get to T1 on multiple characters is for the Transmutation gem rewards.
I managed to get 5 chars to T1, 1 with Gold Jewelry items + 2 with Purple. But then again I PVP maybe 75% of my time in ESO :)
