Guild Roster Issue

With this new update there seems to be a function in the guild roster that automatically takes you to the top of the roster every time you go to look at it.... which would normally be fine.
I have 497 people in my guild with multiple different ranks.... it is extremely frustrating when I'm looking at a specific rank for it to jump back to the top every single time.
I'm not sure I'm explaining this very well. But there is literally no need for this to happen. If I want to go to the very top of the roster all I have to do is press L2.... if I want to go all the way to the bottom press R2. Why reset the roster at the top every single time?
I just want to keep looking at the middle of the roster lol
