If you don't mind my asking, in an attempt to provide solution to your ongoing torture (which, I do absolutely sympathize with) - what is the other dropped set you're using?

My character is not using two dropped sets, as the choice was to have Hunding's body set with the Briarheart jewels and bodkins/bow. It's an alt that can happily farm the chests, even if it takes forever. The experience from doing so is useful, too.

I actually like that some set pieces and items are 'rare', even though it's not difficulty but RNG. I guess I'm just used to mmorpg's being this way and have come to like it. I would find it dull if every loot table was predictable.

Only ways to obtain them is by doing dailies, or treasure chests. Of course one can buy from traders but purple robust ring costs alot thanks to negligence of developers towards the availability.
Adding salt to the injury, daily reward boxes gives NON-SET ITEMS.
Adding rock salt to the injury, jewelry drops in ARCANE, HEALTHY and ROBUST instead of ROBUST only.

For everyone's sake, remove useless non-set items from reward boxes and remove healthy and arcane drops from loot tables...

Retraiting overland gear instead of trial gear goes against what overland stands for..

Having the option for healthy and robust is absolutely awesome. When I used briar a lot, I kept both with me and adjusted based on content. It's a great set and the multi trait is part of it. I agree on the non set items in rewards. It's a real wtf moment when you open the box and see one.

Rings? Try farming for Daggers. Of any trait. That's the rare one

There's a quest that gives a dagger. It's in the ice floe area whose name escapes me at the moment.

True, but you can only wear one of those, so the other still needs to be farmed.

Huh? o.O I wear two Materre's Bodkins just fine. If you mean you can only get one from quest, then just do same quest on another character, or grab your magicka friend who doesn't need the dagger to do quest together (and get two daggers), or failing all of above, buy that Materre's Bodkin from guild trader (I was lazy and bought my second for 5k gold, though I could've done the quest again) since it's not bound.

I have not tried these specific daggers but I can't sport two staffs from another dropped set unique. If course this is on different bars, so that might make a difference

Used to be true for "unique" items that you couldn't hold more then 1 in your inventory (including being equipped), but I though they changed that quite a while back. Did they forget to change for some items or some weapon types?

If only there was a way to change traits.

Have you heard of the Holy Transmutation Station of the Brass Fortress?

Thats not the point. Point is availability. Its a medium set and only medium armor users use it. Arcane and Healthy traits are useless.

Already using retraited named daggers. Got them as a reward for free.

The Healthy jewelry isn't useless at all. I use Healthy Briarheart jewelry on my stamsorc PvP build.

I understand wanting a healthy trait but most of the players dont use healthy. And wouldn't this be better on a named jewellery rather than on normal set piece? its a medium armor set. Pariah set is usable on every character, and it justifies having all traits but briarheart?

Transmute is there as well if one wants other traits than Robust, they can transmute.

If you run healthy jewelry you are basically free to eat a different food than camoran's. You have one that's max Stam and Stam Regen, and that will give you almost the same health and stamina with more Stam Regen on your character. It's a trade off but far from a bad one until you can transmute your healthy into robust. You'll be short about 1k Stam and will have about 130 extra Stam Regen compared to 3 robust + camoran's.

... and if you don't like Healthy or Arcane, you too can transmute.

All of the overland jewelry in Wrothgar drops in Arcane/Healthy/Robust. And I don't think this is specific to Wrothgar, either. Agility/Willpower/Endurance drop in all traits. I believe the overland sets in Hew's Bane and Gold Coast do as well (some do certainly, don't know if they all do).
