DB and thieving event, so my wife never steals / murders and she is very bad in lockping...

And i really had a chuckle how she does the event.

Thieving...: When she enters the cave or whatever she does not sneak at all. She goes mayhem on every NPC in her way to get the treasures. She forces every lock and even has 15 or so seconds on her timer left sometimes even after killing the NPC's who stood in her way.

DB...: Well basicly, everyone in her way dies. Of course, no bonus for this one as she only does the main target.

She gets her tickets in less then 10 minutes dependig on the loading screens. And during that time i hear: "get out of my way motherf....ers" when she encounters npc's.

Well, it made me chuckle though

Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Yeah, especially with the heists the only reason to stay on script is extra swag. My significant other's racked up a significant number of perfect heists/sacrements though. It's impressive given how much she hates that content in ESO.

It's always cool, and somewhat alarming, when our fairer half lays out the verbal smackdown on an NPC or Mob.

Oh, and tell your wife to look at the Springs, not the Pins. Springs vibrate before the pins do.

Just run through them. There is a ton of loot available in the DB quest if you want to take the time. As far as locks go just hit R for the auto unlock. You can add a few skill points in that to increase your chances.

I do it just like this too! No patience for the badly-implemented stealth in this game! Just murder everything! :D

I end up doing just that after the umpteenth failure at a perfect run. I do DB quests perfectly but the Heists are just too hard! Glad to know I'm not the only one!

I find heists way easier due to less objectives. Just spam shadow veil or whatever it's called and you're good.

I make an effort for a perfect heist as you get purple coffers and guaranteed motifs. After two perfect sacraments, I got blue coffers, blue sithis equipment and NO motifs. Bugger that for a lark! DB daily, run in, stab primary target, run out, kill anything in the way. Same crummy reward but over in a minute.

Also worth knowing, there's only 4 positions for a pin. So, you can kinda tell when you're getting close.

DB...: Well basicly, everyone in her way dies. Of course, no bonus for this one as she only does the main target.

There's three possible "level" of reward: for only main target, for all optional things, and for some optional things. Difference between last two is just quality of armor/weapon, nothing more.
So, if not for achevement, it's enough to kill second target/destroy item. Easy, you still can just go and kill everyone, doesn't take much more time, but you get better reward than with just main target.
I like doing all optional things sometimes, but for event? If they see me, it's their problem.

(I hate TG heists. No problem with doing DB daily ideally, but I hate heists. Even killing with Blade of Woe shortens time! And WHY quest of assassins is great for stealing, but quest of thieves doesn't even give opportunity?!)

As a mildly useful bit of info, if you can kill the Laturn Guards within 3 seconds or so during Sacrement, you won't get an alert marker against you. Doesn't work in Heists sadly but still, it makes sacraments so much easier to progress thru without those guys around.

My elf is only doing one Heist a day for the ticket. Before the event she got the prereqs done. As soon as the timer starts, she leisurely brews a cup of tea to get that pressure out of the way. Then she slowly (looking for loot) works through the area just like a delve, killing any/everything that gets in her way. It is not unusual for her to spend over half an hour to complete the quest. No bonuses but rather enjoyable and meets her objective of one ticket per day.

I'm doing the heists/sacraments on my main, a Dunmer DK. She has NM Embrace and Night Terror, plus MA passives, so she sneaks pretty well (and I force all the locks). But, some of the locations for the objectives just aren't as felicitous as others.

I hadn't done any heists or sacraments before the event, as I had no interest. I've mildly enjoyed them. Only once have I managed a perfect heist, but the regular reward of one purple coffer is still pretty good. I managed a hidden heist before getting perfect.

As for the sacraments, I've always managed at least one secondary objective and even got the hidden sacrament achievement before getting a perfect sacrament. Usually, the part I'd miss is getting to the exit before the Overseer arrives, often only missing it by a second. I, too, was disappointed to find that getting a perfect sacrament only nets you 2 blue boxes. And, it just so happened that both only contained a blue piece of Sithis gear. I have gotten DB pages from the green boxes, so it's not really worth it to me to strive for a perfect heist if all I'm interested in is the event tickets (esp. since I bought all the TG and DB pages when they were really cheap).

So, it's been a decent event for me, and I've enjoyed it more than I thought I would. But, I don't plan to do them once the event ends. I'd rather just stick to the tip board for TG, as you get a lot more gold that way, and the repeatable DB quests (don't recall the name off-hand).

Someone already mentioned this, but I find it interesting that the heists don't give you an opportunity to steal items for extra gold. You can loot containers for normal delve loot, but there's nothing to steal. You also don't incur any bounty for being seen. On the other hand, the sacraments do offer stolen loot to fence, but you also get a bounty when seen.

I assumed there is no bounty for the TG heist because they clear our bounty as we a working on their behalf.
