I can still jog in stealth as well as I ever could. But I've only been playing for a couple of years. I believe you used to be able to go faster. I've seen videos of people sprinting while stealthed, but haven't seen that in person.

Can the "THEY TOOK OUR STEALTH" guys calm down for a bit and not get triggered every time someone just mentions the word "stealth"?

I do not remember any changes to stealth speed in the recent updates.

@Royaji You are correct, there was no changes to stealth speed as far as I am aware. You could stretch it really far and say, that because of the reduced stealth radius, people need to run Night Mother instead of Night's Silence.

I'm talking about my orc... I'm moving as slow as a week in jail in stealth... I'm a vamp with steed Stone and fiords/jailbraker... My farmer/ just fun toon to run around and be annoying in cyrodiil... I've never been a real threat on this toon... Just wondering why they would completely kill my stealth speed.

Did you get passive skill points refunded? Did you reallocate them? I don't know on an orc if that could be the issue?

Well, if they won't open it "after revision" I guess we may just copy consolidated info about how this changes oppose lore and create new thread with link to old thread. Btw, we may add that roll-dodge passive synergies with WW best, while being a WW is against the lore again.

Yes I reallocated them... But I'm seeing the wording is different. Now it says Sprint... It did say movement speed.

Years ago, yes. You could stack Nightstalker on top of Night's Silence, and get 160% movement speed in stealth. Add a nightblade with concealed weapon, and you were up to 185%. It was bonkers.

Are you in stage 4? One common problem is, you'll be zipping around in Stage 4, try to Blade of Woe someone, and instead accidentally feed on them, taking you down to Stage 3, and turning off your stealth movement buff. If this happens, you can get your stealth passive back by spamming Mistform a dozen times. (Also, if you use Double Bloody Maras, your Vampire stage will be bumped back up to 3.)

There's nothing lorebreaking about Bosmer Werewolves. They violate The Green Pact, but it's not like we don't already see Bosmer doing that in other ways as well. Actually kinda makes sense that Bosmer would have perks for going Werewolf, as they are more linked to shapeshifting than the other races.

Anyway, let's stick to the vampire discussion, rather than trying to derail this about how a pet thread was locked.

I used to be able to stealth faster than I could run. But I spent a crap ton of gold and chose skill points and my character specifically for that reason. This toon was made exactly for moving fast in stealth. You ass hats at bethesda can take my Respec tokens back and shove them up your asses. You've completely wasted months of my time making this toon. I am a shift worker who works almost 80 hours a week.. I don't have time for this ***. I've leveled 8 toons and I've been loyal and took it up the butt and never complained about changes.. but you completely broke my toon.

Since you were running Fiord's on a stealth character you really didn't do a good job at it.

80 hours isn't full time. That's two full time jobs. Also, crying about how they completely broke your character is hyperbolic as ****, and doesn't leave much room for meaningful conversation.

Ok. Lol I guess 80 hours a week isn't cutting it for you. I also have kids but I bet that's a walk in the park for you too. I think your one of those *** who is always right. So I'll bow to your wisdom. Although I only get a couple hours a week to play. But me running fast in stealth is hardly game breaking. Not when I come across players who can teleport through walls and stairs and resist all stuns and can stealth though everything even stealth breaking abilities. No. Your right. I just need to stop complaining about my simple speed gimic that really doesn't hurt anyone else.

There's 168 hours in the week. You're working for (just under) half of that. You're blowing off steam in a game. Okay, cool. Then you spend an hour crying about how the sneak speed calculations were slightly altered in a recent patch.

Right, while going to work in the snow, up hill, both ways. Cool. "Literally unplayable." *Snorts* No.

Family of 4 one income, I work 36/48 weeks the Dupont schedule. 12 hour days Mon though Thursday off till the following Friday then Friday though Monday night. Off till the next Friday. Then Friday to Sunday days off Monday Tuesday through Thursday night off till Monday... But seeing as I'm not one of the old heads at my jobs, everytime someone takes off, I have to work it, so I end up working my 7 day break, and then some. This character is merely for fun and farming. Farming and running. I have other toons I play which were effected less. But my point is I spent my time on this toon. My time, not zos's time. If you want to give me a hard time for bitching about time which I have little of, then cool. But I'm just trying to tell zos that I'm not happy. There are other things that could have been fixed than stealth speed. Like the Templar sorc combo that can live through an entire Zerg. Or the nightnlade that can stealth through 10 other people smacking on him. Or the dragonnight that can die 2 times in a row and still fight like he didn't die at all. Zos did this. Fixing *** that didn't need to be fixed, and ignoring *** that needs to looked at.

@Fuzzybrick - RL sucks for most of us. That's why we play games. It's sad that your experience is poisoned for now. I hope it gets better soon.

If you have to ask, then you don't even know what I mean. I'm sure there are plenty of people out they that work my schedule and know what I mean. Time is money. I get limited hours. I have kids i love and take care of. I have a wife I have to keep happy. Then I get a 30 minute break from real life and sign on eso just to get my butt blown out by the biggest *** at zos.
