WHY would you reduce the DW glyph damage?

Most players use 2-H already, why on earth would they feel the need to nerf duel wield by reducing the glyph damage? Is it not under-used enough? What a joke decision 4 years into the game.
I like to dw mostly for the look and feel of it, but it looks like there's even less point now, might as well go 2-H with 90% of cyrodiil.
Is this promoting diversity? I don't think so.

Dashmatt✭✭✭✭This change is super logical if you think about it for a second, and then immediately stop thinking.
To be truly consistent with past changes, they would have had to double enchant power for 2h weapons. However I don’t think anyone thinks it would be a good idea to let staves have double enchant power.
So instead they cut 1h in half, which hurt tanks as well.
And now two DW weapons equals one 2h. Except in materials cost. And time to farm. And transmute crystals.
