Honestly, the icy conjur has some pretty interesting applications, and it's basically Oblivion damage. As far as the other two I'm on the wall for them. Ysgomore is great if you didn't have to worry about healing and the other one is just a ice AoE. I myself am building something like this assuming I can ever get through Frostvult on vet.

If we could get enough healing through our basic SP and Magkica supply for healing to be large enough to stay up I'd so go ysgramore but if you can't I'm not sure.

winterborn with 60% crit accounts for maybe 1.8k dps. Its good in pvp when you might need spikes of damage to get the killing blow, but in PVE is just doesn't cut it.

Not tested ysgramors but its only 30% more damage than julianos, so if even 30% of your damage is non frost then its just worse. That said off the top of my head, other than maybe shalks everything on a frost warden is cold damage p.much.

Also iceheart is good but not a good DD monsters set. Can be nice for running challenger acheivements though for example.

Icy Conjurer I haven't tested, but I know someone who I think got decent DPS results with it (like 25k ish maybe), not sure how carefully crafted their build was so there may be more dps to squeeze out of it, but I doubt much.

apparently you can doge it, so im not sure how accurate that test would be if it was parsed

Winterborn x Necropotence. Keep Betty up. PvE Magden dps is terrible when compared to other classes. The rotation is annoying as well. It's fun for normal dungeons or vet if rolling with friends casually. You will probably burn out quick though. The overall subpar dps just ruins it. Best use for magden I've found is leveling others in Skyreach. Winterborn x Necro x Iceheart x spam ulti = easy mode.

im running necropotence + winterborn or necropotence + icy conjurer (+ ice heart) currently...but less for performance rather than theme (i just hate using the same sets on everyone and prefer having thematicaly fitting sets)

what i can tell you is that if you use icy wall of elements + the frost dot from warden and ice heart, it procs ALL THE TIME - like every fight, every few seconds... and i just like that visually :-)

For PVP, it depends on what you’re going for. If you primarily want to run frost for CC, Winterborn is the better option. If you want a little less CC but more damage, Ysgramor works well. I’m currently using Ysgramor/BTB/Slimecraw on my support/DPS hybrid in BGs.

Just a suggestion: maybe try utilizing Ysgramor's Birthright with Law of Julianos, Scathing Mage, or Mother's Sorrow. I have mine with Ysgramor's Birthright + Scathing Mage and it's a great build. To be honest, I only have 3 heavy frost damage abilities on my damage bar. The other two moves are just slotted abilities to increase crit and damage done. On my buff/debuff/heal bar, I have an ice heal/damage ability (Artic Wind I believe?) and Crystalized Slab which is NECESSARY. I have over 5k spell damage in battle and I carry my own weight. I have been complimented many times. Honestly, there's nothing terrible about the build. If you haven't given up on the build and would like any assistance, lmk.

I don't know, but ever though of using ice furnace with icy conjurer or succession? Succession set give higher spell dmg of all elemnetal dmg excluding magic type. It is a proc set but it is almost 100% uptime, I use it a lot on my dragonknight because it only do fire, it have 92-97% uptime on fire buff. I would think you can get about same uptime on frost buff. Also, ice heart is the only frost theme monster set, if you want a replacement, it will be either frost master staff or frost black rose. To be homest I never liked sets that buff a certain dmg type lik yisgamor, auto, sun...etc because it fails to do what it is supposed to do in comparisom to other dmg buff sets like new moon or necropotence.
