AOE targeting in Murkmire seems off

Since the patch, I've noticed that AoE targeting seems a bit off in Murkmire. I've only used my NB so far, so this is really limited to endless hail and caltrops, but the targeting of the abilities seems much jerkier and difficult to maneuver; the targeting circle frequently "sticks" on being centered on my character, and I can target max ranges ok, but mid-range areas are almost impossible to target. Anyone else noticing this?
This doesn't happen in the non-overland areas. I'm not sure if there are other regions affected, so maybe it's specific to the swamp layout.
