Best Werewolf front bar weapon after 1h enchant nerfs?

Currently my werewolf has Blood Moon daggers with poison and berserk enchants, but now that 1h enchants got nerfed I'm wondering if going 2h front bar would be better, especially considering that 2h also gives access to minor heroism and would allow me to get ulti for the transformation faster. Also, if I go 2h, should I go with berserk or poison enchant on it? And in either case, what weapon traits would be best?

Also, is it possible that Tzogvin's would be better than Blood Moon? It would increase my DPS both in and out of WW form while making the rotation simpler. I would also be getting Minor Force in WW form, which might be outperforming the extra damage on light attacks, considering it would also apply to DoTs and pets(?)... Has anyone tested this?

For context, it's an Argonian stamDK (used to be my tank, but this patch I'll tank with a Nord), with the other set being Relequen. I have both Kena and Stormfist monster sets, so can switch for fights that might force me to stay in lizard form.

IMO, two handed was pretty competitive even before the changes to dual wield. Now I think it depends mostly on whether you benefit more from having two different enchantments, or having one effect that's stronger. For instance, DK's have a passive that gives you stamina when you inflict the poisoned condition on an enemy, and magicka when you inflict the burning condition. Going DW with one poison and one flame glyph would let you inflict both conditions pretty reliably, boosting your sustain. On the other hand, if your sustain is fine and you need more weapon damage, you can rock an infused two hander with a damage glyph.

As for Tzogvin's, it depends on whether you have another way to get minor force. If you're in a group that pops warhorn frequently, you're probably better off going with something else--but for solo runs it could be pretty nice.

Horn and Tzogvin provide different buffs. One provides Major Force, the other provides Minor Force. These buffs stack. And I don't think there is any other way to get Minor Force on WW other than gear.

Also I don't think it's a good idea to run fire enchant on a WW since it doesn't scale with anything WWs use in optimized builds, but yeah, sustain is a good point, sounds like poison enchant would be the way to go if I decide to go 2h. That answers one question.

Ah, missed that. Should have looked it up instead of going from memory. :p

You can get minor force from having an ally cast Stalwart Guard on you, or from casting Accelerate or Trap Beast before transforming. (I once won a duel because the Rearming Trap I had dropped at the start of the match was still around, and my opponent ran into it while I was chasing him around in wolf form.) Another option would be to run with a healer wearing Twilight Remedy.

Also, enchantments don't scale with much of anything, period--so it doesn't really matter what type of damage you use.

Actually, damage enchants scale with pretty much everything excepted Spell/Weapon Damage and Max Magicka/Stamina.
And status effects like burning/poison even scale with pell/Weapon Damage and Max Magicka/Stamina.

Forgot about guard and twilight remedy. But neither of those will be used in a trial or dungeon. There are enough people with traps and channeled acceleration to make twilight remedy a waste, and guard link would break all the time because of mechanics that force you to move. Not to mention that it's 2 skill slots that nobody would be willing to sacrifice.

Pre-casting trap/acceleration isn't an option either as the DPS boost will be negligible in any fight lasting more than 1-2 minutes.

As for enchants, they scale with CPs.

Pretty sure they don't, actually. At least not the Mighty and Elemental Expert stars. I even double checked in the build editor before my last post. I'd be interested to see the results of an in-game test though, maybe it just doesn't update the tooltip.

Physical/Spell pen probably does affects them, but in the setup I mentioned you're not really caring about the damage anyway--it's about the sustain you get from reliably triggering Poisoned and Burning while in wolf form.
