Stam sorc here. Another unique play skill is gone. Just 3 more left to go. Even if they make amplitude much stronger it still going to be yet another boring passive.

Yes, very. Because it is an insanely strong passive added to an already extremely strong class. If you understand Sorcs damage profile in PvP (100-0 burst damage+stacking damage in tight burst windows), I shouldn't need to explain the math behind why Amplitude is so powerful.

Sorc was already a top tier PvP class, and now it is going to be top dog once again. The only thing that upsets me is how many meta riders are gonna suddenly pick it up this patch and make it flavor of the month.

i doubt that. idk how i feel about the new passive but the one thing i am sure of is sorc is really trash at the moment and i dont see this helping much

I like it, kinda wish it only scaled down to 5% tho, by the end of the parse unless you use bloodthirsty it's just mehh

A passive execute was a little OP.

That being said, stam sorcs should get something to compensate for the change.

Agreed. When saw the pts notes back then about the passive and combined with some other changes and realities of the current pvp situation i knew there will be more sorcs this patch for sure. It is really strong passive for pvp with the right combination of build and skills.

Kind of torn about it though.. i`d like to play with it, but i hate playing FOTM things, so will end up most likely playing a class with a setup that is made to counter these upcoming masses of FOTM sorcs. Sweet sweet AP incoming.

I'm torn.

It might be a strong passive. It's certainly an easier passive to balance.

But it removes an interested facet from sorcs, and gives them a passive that's more or less invisible--a blow to class character, imo.

Most people won't notice how helpful it is and that's ok. What matters is that Implosion is gone.
