If ZOS will not give us a class change token...

would you be satisfied if they made achievements account wide and removed the timer from mount training? On the latter, there would be no reduction in gold cost, you just could buy as many levels of mount training as you wanted at a time.

Non-pvp achievements would be fine, but not skyshards or guild rep. Horse training timer could definitely be reduced or eliminated if the cost remains the same.

I could care less about achievement's, or class changes. However I hope they link skyshards and riding lessons.

Another pointless thread. They won't reduce mount feeding cooldown because they are making money off people that are buying riding lessons. And no other option besides CC token is even worth considering.

I guess I am the only one ok with mount training?
It could be worse, like it was at the start, where you had to train EACH mount.

You're not the only one, I'm fine with it. I don't have a minimum level of training that is needed before I consider my characters worthwhile and it's part of the whole concept of MMORPGs being a long-term thing with the journey far more important than the destination.

Whereas for me it's the ONE THING I can't abide. Two MONTHS just to get to max speed is unacceptable, let alone the SIX months it takes to be fully trained....and that's if you're logging in faithfully every day.

Just give us a *** class change.

I genuinely wish they would but they have said they won't. That being the case, I'm trying to explore other options of things they COULD do.

I just don't have any interest in any of this. I love to run all my toons around to do exploration, get skyshards... it's what I do in games. I don't get the problem here personally. As for mount training.... I log in every day on 21 toons. I buy mount training. I do crafting writs. That's in the morning (for me). Then in the afternoon, I explore, quest.... whatever.

Mount training is.... as far as gold goes.... negligible. I don't miss the gold.

I'm not at all opposed to the gold cost. I'm opposed to the length of time it takes to complete mount training. There's no good reason for it and it's a HUGE deterrent to starting an alt character, especially if you PVP.

it's not good when the game discourages you from playing multiple achievements because you like getting achievements. They could even just add a new "layer" of achievements, or do it the steam way and have it be bound to the game but not be linkable in game.

I think they should have both per character achievement points and account total achievement points.

As for the mount training timer, I'm not opposed to it at all but it would cut into ZoS' profits so it's just not going to happen.

I would not say no to account wide achievements.

I doubt they'd give us unlimited horse training, though giving us multiple training sessions per day for ESO+ would be nice. (Either, letting us queue up future days of training, or letting us buy three or five at once.)

The things you are asking for are completely unrelated to class change tokens, and everything is perfect the way it is.

Making achievements account wide would completely throw away their importance, especially for players who have put in the work needed to earn them on multiple characters. If you want them on multiple characters, put in the work to earn them on multiple characters.

Removing the timer from mount training would remove the only real limitation for mount training. Looking only at how much gold is needed it's only 45k gold to completely train a character's mount. That small of an amount of gold is not a real limitation and is very easy to get. So if they were going to do that, they might as well get rid of the whole mount training system and make all mounts automatically maxed in everything because it's virtually the same thing. I truly hope they never do anything like that as it would water down and diminish the game. They need to leave it exactly how it is as it rewards patient players with a daily boost. Those who aren't willing to visit the stables daily do not deserve the rewards of doing so.

I'm sick of the people saying no influence ZOS' decision that should be mine and mine alone. You don't want to synchronize achievements among all your characters? Okay. You want to level up your PvP skills and guild skill lines on a character by character-basis? Okay. You do that.

All I know is that making alts in this game is a huge pain in the ass and it actively prevents me from creating more characters. Two is enough for me. Not to mention the 1-50 experience (which in my opinion should be removed for veteran players) halts my overall CP progression even further on top of the game actively deincentivizing alts.

If 2 alts is all you want to work for, 2 alts is all you will have. If you think they are a "pain" that's ok, but it in no way justifies you getting stuff automatically on future alts which didn't earn them. I have 15 alts and enjoy every one of them; I look forward to the day ZOS adds more slots so I can make a few more. I've earned various achievements on many of them and despise the idea of achievements becoming account wide just to appease the casual gimmie-gimmie crowd that refuses to put in the time to earn such things.

CP and collections (including mementos, outfits, skins, etc) are already account wide. Achievements, mount training, quest completion, skill points, and skyshards are character bound. Between these things there is a wonderful balance of player rewards vs character rewards which should not be changed. Altering this balance would severely diminish ESO.

I have to say no. The class change is the better solution. I do understand their reluctance but all they have to do it put a LONG timer on how often you can change class, like say one full year per character. That way you won't have whales changing class every few days or weeks to chase metas for specific events or trials in order to gain a continual advantage.

Not all achievements should be account-wide. There are very good reasons for certain ones to be character-specific. Basically, anything that gives a title. Everything else, especially those that are heavily class-dependent (like the thievery achievements) should be evaluated and made global if there are no factors weighing against doing so. I'd much rather do TG and DB quests on a Nightblade instead of my divine-themed Templar.

I don't want achievements to be account-wide, because I'm the sort of player who enjoys getting achievements on more than one character. The game would get boring for me if I wasn't able to get some achievements more than once.

    But, everybody plays differently.

If you don't want to play the game on a new character don't make a new character. The reason ZoS gives us so many character slots is because an MMO survives by content being repeated. That is also the reason for bind on pick-up items and RNG. Account wide achievements would in the long run be detrimental to the health of the game.
