Can someone tell me what are the dyes here?

This is the champion gear preview of an Imperial DK on the character creation menu. I really want to know what's this shiny silver dye. All I could find on the outfit station are just either dull grey or plain white. I would really want this shiny, polished silver dye on my armor. Any ideas?

EDIT: this is the closest I can get for now, using Obsidian Black and Rank 5 material dyes (first one is champion gear preview, second one is my try):

It's most likely not a dye but the base colour of the armor when it's crafted using a specific gear level material.

    I agree with pocketnova...

Looks like standard rubedite imperial gear.

I think there are ten dyes that match different material which are earned by deconstructing different tier gears. I have tried those but don’t get good result.

    Isn’t rubedite gear red?

It's a combination of dye, gear level and gear quality.

Gear level selection in the outfit designer is very limited and you can't choose the quality at all. Getting that exact same look there is impossible.
You'd have to use it as your actual armor but since those previews have never been changed since release its guaranteed to be a lower level than CP160. So, basically useless for anything other than RP.

Don't recognize these but the lighting is pretty poor too

The lighting creates those hues. The gear is stock imperial gear, so most likely is the original color of the gear if you craft it, probably in one of the material dyes.

You can check all the rare dyes in this post that I made a while ago.

P.S. It is hard to identify a specific dye on gear, because each style has its own way of "absorbing" the dyes. Imperial is one of the worst to dye, because the cloth and leather part change the colour a lot. The metal pieces will also be darker than others. On the opposite, you will have the ancient orc or trinimac styles which are quite shiny.

    Is that me?

For real though, use Cyrodilic steel for steel parts and Colovian deep brown for leather and wooden parts.

Both dyes comes from achievements in Cyrodiil PVE:
    Cyrodiil Champion
    Cyrodiil Cave Delver

Thank you. I see that Cyrodiilic Steel needs quite a lot of town quests. I will work on it. I really wish we can preview locked dyes like locked motifs.

For now I use Obsidian Black and rank 5 material dyes. Not exactly the same but close.

could be Cyrodiilic Steel, which is a bit dark, but shiny, or Warrior's Steel (HRC achievement) which is even darker.

Thanks dude. I checked your rare dye post and Cyro Steel seems promising. Warrior Steel seems a bit too dark. If only the game let me preview the dyes first!

    Isn’t rubedite gear red?

The ruby level red dye colours that same shade shiny grey/black on certain mats... but I'm guessing it's hides that go that colour?

Going to have to go check this out now xD

You can access ALL dyes on PTS now and neither Cyro or Warr or any of the others looked right to me.. it's missing a blue tone somehow and it may come down to the lighting on the stupid creation screen.

Closest I was able to get was Noxophilic Black & Khenarthi Red. Again, getting the feeling it's a lighting thing ;)

You can. You just need PTS access to do it.

This is relatively new, and was added with, Wolfhunter or Mirkmire.

No, it's the Champion Gear preview for a DK from the race change menu.

As a result, it's probably supposed to be Ebony tier (5), but who knows exactly what dyes it's using?
