Would you be interested in new music boxes (furniture items)?

Music boxes seem to be popular.
I have had a few guildies asking if there are any more to come out.
Maybe some more would be fun.

It has been datamined that more are coming with new melodies and new designs for the boxes.

Either of the yes options seem fine to me unless they'll get overpriced or tied to some ultra vet stuff.

I'd also like it if they "overwrote" the music for your entire property while playing! (Not just to the little local area you put it at in the home).

Would be nice to hear the tune from one side of the property to the other!

This. We seem to be getting from each alliance, and their boxes are themed as such -- where the first one was a theme song and used the ouroboros.

While new music boxes are nice and are indeed coming as others pointed out, I'd rather have bards Placeable NPCs that play one of the game's songs when 'turned on' (errr...or whatever the appropriate term would be for people )

We already have precedent for furniture that have animations (mounts, pets, etc.) and NPC furniture which are interactable (merchant, fence, banker), and the sound files are already in the game on regular bards so they don't even need to compose anything new as they do for the clinking music box tracks.

Some could be crown exclusive to make sure ZOS are getting paid for their time, but one or two could come from gameplay - perhaps as a reward for a long adventure and exploration quest chain to recruit a bard, similarly to how the Summerset treasure hunting rewarded us with an interactable furnishing.

Since the game came out, I've been one asking for music boxes... as either craftables and/or regional achievement collectibles.

As long as they remain Crown Store-only, I do not support them. I wouldn't mind if some of them were in the crown store, but I feel like they missed a major lore & gameplay opportunity for the sake of milking a cash opportunity. With a bit more creativity they could have had both without throwing one under the bus for the other.

Was thinking about this myself.

Probably have a bard assistant with a range of songs.

They could release new music sheets for the bards to play as well and maybe new instruments

Nobody likes it when it's crown exclusive. Crown store should just be a short cut.

At the price point they've already established for these, I no longer have any interest in them at all. Too expensive and no in-game way to earn any.

I just want more furnishings for my house. And an increase in the number of items I can put in my house would be nice too.
