    Non stop blocking, PA, Absorb Magic, roll dodge, stam burning speed is very fast... I wont consider stam cc skills unless I have no choices

    Again. Reduce or even remove the snare from the skill but leave the skills as it is other than that.

    errhmm...hello ?? Timestop/timefreeze is the only equivalent to DK Talons that is open to all classes and therefore usable by nightblade. I use this as a core PVE skill on my nightblade tank.

    I cannot believe you are even considering to raise the cost of this core skill to unusable levels !

    PvP is the most vocal community but PvE will pay for it. Add it to the PvP debuff so it doesn’t ruin it for the rest of the community.

    Quite often I have been the only one casting time stop on breach…

    I think the nerf is justiied. I can keep spamming time stop, mages guild rune and sorc runes non-stop on breach and my magicka bar is barely moving.

    i did the same on my stamblade with caltrops and timestop. snare spam ftw

    I would time stop myself so much for fun. In all seriousness though, as a Magsorc I use it for the "GTFOff-of-me-i-need-a-breather" effect when 1vx'ing. It's very useful there :)

    I love the different poses I'm in when it freezes me. Mid swing, mid dodge roll, the faces characters make when firing off certain skills are hilarious when time stopped!

    One morph should be a snare into a root. The other should be a delayed hard CC. Neither should debuff healing. And they should not be able to be cast in the same spot

    They should give one morph a reduced cost but only casts at player location - no range cast.

    With changes like this it would be great to see the agreed rationale behind the proposal rather than just an outcome. If it's driven solely by PvP concerns it would make sense for the change to impact PvP only. If there is some example where this skill is an issue in PvE then it would be good to understand what that issue is.

    The example has been given above but bears repeating - on fights like Fang Lair hard mode, a CC for scarabs is hugely valuable to tanks. With this change that becomes hugely expensive for non DK tanks to the point of non viability.

    Like many suggested a change to mechanics would be fine. Remove the snare and make it casted around you would make the skill balanced. But 8k mag is just too much for non Zerg build

    Change seems fine to me. The problem isn't multiple people using it at the same time (as you get snare immunity so it doesn't matter). The problem is them getting spammed to have a permanent area of denial. These changes will prevent spam.

    By big group, do you mean ball group? Ball groups aren't running this anyways.

    By big group, do you mean zerg? Zergs aren't coordinated enough to time chains of timestop

    Additionally, this cost will be prohibitively expensive. It's likely these same zerg members will find it's better to run something else entirely due to cost.

    This change is NOT fine. I dont often use this skill in PvP since its so stupidly easy to avoid...but I DO use it tanking in PvE...8100 makes it WORTHLESS for PvE tanking...good job ZOS...kill another tanking skill why dont you, when it doesnt need to be...its pathetically easy to avoid in PvP, does ANYONE disagree that its easy to avoid in PvP? Aside from the times people idiotically stand in breaches or choke points.

    If two (friendly) timestops overlap, the last one cancels out the previous one. Basically like you were the only one casting it. Wouldn't be a PvE problem for tanks - and in PvP it would at least take some skill to land two adjacent time stops instead of just chaining them together.

    Time stop isn't great on nb and templar tanks anyway since mobs get cc imunity after being pulled with silver leash. This makes them immune to the stun from time stop.

    Unlike stuns, immobilize skills like talons don't obey cc immunity so you can chain and lock in place. Imo this make blockade of frost much mose useful for these classes than time stop.

    Make it so that when you break free of it the debuff turns into an immunity for 10 seconds to further timestops.

    While true, I wouldn't doubt that there are many nightblade and templar tanks who have found the skill to be useful. I sure have.

    But aside from that, the skill is just fun. This change doesn't just hit the usefulness of this skill in doing 4-person dungeon content, it hits the usefulness of this skill for overland adventures too. There'll be little reason to slot this skill at all for any content except PvP. With nearly doubling the casting cost, why bother having this be part of a PvE skill line at all? They might as well move it to Alliance War and give us something else that is fun to play with for the Psijic Order skill line.

    I'm generally a Stam toon so I never use this skill but I like it a lot. It's one of the only skills in the game that let you defend against greater numbers. I really don't want it to go. Is it THAT annoying that you can't get into a breach? Dude make another hole.

    Hurting such a fun fun skill. All to make taking resources that much faster when zerging. I don't get it. This skill was making keep defense fun. Hopefully that's all they do to it.

    Change seems fine, such skills are destroying ESO.

    It will hurt pve tanks using the skill as crowd control method.

    Agreed. When keeps take longer to take/defend, they are more fun. A LOT more fun then PVDooring. Makes me sad that they are doing this.
    But this action makes me see what PVE'ers are talking about when it comes to changes being made mostly to appease a select few PVP players at the expense of PVE & PVP(for the ones who aren't crying nerf 24/7).

    The cost increase is the best way to nerfthe spam of it.
    You can cast 4 back to back in no cp at this cost where as before you could do 12 before dry on mag and not counting pot
    Factoring in Regen during the time it takes to cast all of them.

    If you want to spam it next patch by all means please do
    Now you won’t have resources for buffs or healing and an easy kill

    Again, you completely ignore the PvE use of this skill because you dont know how to avoid something in PvP...its easy to avoid in PvP, no changes needed

    It's incredible the amount of people who don't know how to counter this.

    Just nerf everything. Actually, take out any sort of damage. Let us all punch each other and the walls/doors. It will be balanced then.
