How are magplars in 4.3?

With the tweak to solar barrage, ancient knowledge and the race changes has anyone more attuned than I tested how are friendly neighborhood magplars are doing compared to live and to the other magic classes?

    They were tied for top magicka DPS on live. I don't see why that would change with this patch.

    Sadly unable to defeat PTS lag from Europe, regardless of any buffs or nerfs.

    I've been thinking using solar barrage with the new set Auroran’s Thunder and valkyn skoria probably. It could be great group setup if it had better 2-4 set piece bonuses :/

    A bit off topic but i wish solar barrage had a different animation. It has the same animation with purifying light and casting these two one after another looks so meh.
