Which ESO song has left an impact on you that you keep going back to listen to? (and where)

I thought this would be a fun thread to start and share experiences of the music of Tamriel that I think the @ZOS_SoundMaster would appreciate knowing how the fans feel and which piece is the fans favorite.

Mine is Auridon for the "Moth, Butterfly and Torchbug" song



The second is Wrothgar for "Recollection of Wars Long Lost"

Awesome thread idea! I really enjoy "The Brass Fortress" from Clockwork City. Not sure what it is about it, but it's eerily beautiful and calming and I love it

I don't know what the name is sadly. Lately I have been having the music off and either listening to my music or having none at all and listen to the nature sounds.

Then while waiting for the stream of Elswyr they played a music track that I just fell in love with. Don't know if it was new or not since for 3 years hearing the samething over and over again, that is why I turned it off. Forgot how awesome some of the tracts are.

If you can give me a time stamp of the song you liked in their stream, I could find it if it's a released song.

My most favorite is this one, which I first discovered questing in Glenumbra. I love the french horn part, where it sounds like a start of the hunt call.

Honestly. I wish they brought back the original main menu theme. It's hype as hell still after all these years. Maybe for the 5th anniv

I don’t know the name but there is a lilting song with a female vocal that plays in Eastmarch which is just nuts - the music alone makes Eastmarch a go to farm visit when I’m waiting for a queue to pop.

It sometimes plays in my Earthtear cavern - I wish I could change a setting to make it loop permanently in there.

I remember falling asleep and waking up to this song so many times in my early years of playing ESO.

My absolute fav, I love the melody so much and want such bard (or at least music box with this melody) for my house



Second fav is old Dark Anchor theme, it was so epic! Unfortunately I couldn't make videos back then, to record it from the very start of ritual together with anchor drop and battle sounds... I was very sad when they redid it, current version is not epic at all for me

The one that plays when you get into Cyrodiil and the one that plays (or used to play, not sure) on Dolmens. I dont have access to Youtube atm, so can't link them (YT blocked by corp. proxy )

Both are good! AndI was going to say, the Dark Anchor one they redid for Imperial city didn't they? I know it plays a lot in there and I love the IC music!

First thing I do in every game I've ever played is turn off the music, with one exception where the music was essential as it changed depending on whether threats were near or far and dropped a lot of clues.

I prefer the noise of battle!

Yes!! This is my favorite main menu theme - I have it on my workout playlist and it always motivates me, especially that big crescendo around the 4 minute mark.

@victory.immortalb16_ESO That is what my boyfriend does. PVPer I assume? We will be at a keep and when all of a sudden I will hear battle music and I am like "I hear battle music! Where is the battle?" and my boyfriend has no idea.

@Beardimus YAS! When I go to my crafting stations at my house to deconstruct, I run over to the stations near my music box so I can hear it. That is also why people want Bards in their houses too.

The tracks in Eastmarch and Glenumbra/Stormhaven are also quite pleasant.

Fair enough! The music boxes don't give them justice but you can still appreciate remixes but the original will always hold a place in the heart.

I remember the first time I reached Elden Root, by foot from Haven. I was really amazed by that huge tree.

As I reach the AD Capital, The Three Banners War Fanfare started playing. It was so amazing and that feel that I was in a important place.

By coincidence, on my second character I did the same thing (RP reasons) and I was amazed to hear "Recollection of Wars Long Lost" on the same place.

Wonderful times where I was so naive in this game.
